Hi. I'm... well, I can't say my age, but I'm in middle school. About a month ago, I was going through a lot of challenges. Basically, it was a lot of drama at school, a few of our chickens that I had raised died, and I was struggling in my relationship with God. I was thinking of being homeschooled on k12, but my greatest friend in the entire world asked me what was wrong one day. I told her what was going on and I cried. She told me a few things that really helped me. One, think of everything positive that happened at the end of each day. Secondly, she said to pray a LOT. I did both of these things and I felt so much better.
I learned something new yesterday at school, as well.
I was in my pre-algebra class and it combines my grade with the grade above me. Well, I'm really quiet, so I'm intimidated by the grades higher than me. We had a substitute, and she said we were allowed to listen to music while we did our work. So, I began listening to my iPod and listened to For King And Country. I couldn't help dancing in my chair. This group of three girls in the grade higher than mine began giggling at me. One of them tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Are you listening to bad music?"
And then a miracle happened. The person behind me (he's above my grade too, and he's known to have a foul mouth, and he rides my bus, and I barely know the guy) spoke up and said, "No, she listens to Christian music." The girl who was going to pick on me just shrugged and left me alone. So, before my next class, I thanked him.
So what did I learn? I learned that God can do anything and that He's good all the time.
