Foo Fighters - Sunday Rain Lyrics
You say I take it for granted
I say you've taken it all
Say you can take it or leave it
You got your head in the ceiling
When are you gonna come down?
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's right down the drain I go
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's always a shame, oh no
You wanna tell me a secret
You think I'm gonna find out
You tell the lie, you should keep it
Don't wanna know where it's leading
My first mistake was believing
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's right down the drain I go
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's always a shame, oh no
Are you a little afraid?
A little alone?
Do you give it away?
Do you let go?
Where do you find it?
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's right down the drain I go
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's always a shame, oh no
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
It's right down the drain I go
Don't leave me drowning in your Sunday rain
Are you a little afraid?
A little alone?
A little exhausted?
Do you give it away?
Do you let go?
How do you find it?
Are you a little afraid?
A little alone?
A little exhausted?
Do you give it away?
Do you let go?
How do you find it?
Are you a little afraid?
A little alone?
A little exhausted?
Do you give it away?
Do you let go?

Foo Fighters Sunday Rain Comments
Word has it, Neil Peart played theremin on this track!
The intro and the pré-chorus remind me of How Do You Sleep by John Lennon
I heard echoes From "I'm losing you" and Oasis "the girl in the dirty shirt "
for real?do you know masterplan(oasis)? In the minute 5:10, there is a hidden message, but I never could, because I don't speak English very well.
Wow! Bellissima!!!
Reminds me of an Eagles song :)
Bass line from Echoes...love this....
I'm hearing "Back Chat" by Queen in the guitar riff.
Hommage aux scarabés.

Masterpiece.
Grande, fantastico Taylor❤❤
Paul is a great drummer. They manage a great John Lennon sound between them.

To me this sounds like Queen, some guitar riffs are very Brian May and the singing reminds me of Roger Taylor
More of That Jazz(Queen Song) similar to
Paul McCartney plays drums on this song
A taste of Beatles
i love pauls drumming<3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F03ASb8BCBg
The Beatles and Foo Fighters are two of my favorite bands. Cool hearing Paul McCartney collaborating here.
Collaborating? Wtf, did Paul himself sent you here to post this rubbish? The guy played the fookin drums, the fookin ape from Hangover could have done this fookin job 🙈
A year ago?
Paul McCartney on drums!! 💯 %, Dave Grohl talks about it with Lars on it’s electric, Beats 1 on Apple Music.
Random piano. Wait for it. : )
nazewnatrz
coockie
whats with the piano at the end?
I guess that's a McCartney thing, analogous to the ending of Tomorrow Never Knows off the Beatles' Revolver album.
Paul McCartney is a fantastic drummer as well as an incredible songwriter and musician. The song "Sunday Rain" has the same feel as John Lennon's song "How Do You Sleep". Very haunting!
I'm sure Paul didn't intend to be reminded of "How Do You Sleep.""
very Beatlesque you r right!awesome
Mmm the vocals are gorgeous
Very lush, very sexy
wasting light is very best
It reminds me "echoes" from pink floyd
or shine on you part II
This tune reminds me of the Beatles
I think it sounds a lot like a Wings song. Definitely influenced by McCartney.
without read any information about the people who recorded, at the first place, the intro and first verse reminds me a lot the Floyd scent, then in the chorus I can hear Paul influence, but... Floyd picture stays in my mind ;)
Paul played the drums for this song.
very The Eagles-ish
kinda sounds like "im losing you" by Lennon or at least it shares a vibe.
Foo fighters are starting to change genre... doesn’t bother me, but it’s a drastic change
I love that they're experimenting. I don't think they'll lose any fan base over this.
+Roger Douglass I agree
Doesn’t this have to apply to more than one song before you say they are changing genre?
@Grill Buster I was thinking the same. :)
THE BEST SONG....#CONCRETEANDGOLD..
Never let the drummer sing that's what we learned
he actually sings in most Foo Fighters songs dude
Also Dave Grohl was a former drummer
Taylor Hawkin's voice is really good man, and refreshing on a foo fighters album. Also Paul McCartney is actually drumming on this track.
This comment is golden.. hahaha
courtney love's reference?
I like this......nice to hear Taylor’s voice. He can sing. He can scream. He can sure play the drums with style.
agreed! i dont know if you know but it's paul mccartney on the drums there.
Maye McDonald oh yeah for sure
Rodolfo de Andrade Thanks for letting me know.
Dave Grohl mentioned in an interview that Paul Macartney played drums on this particular track
Only thing I like bout this fookin song, Hawkins singing. He should've get his chance way earlier in his career. He's completely wasted on this lamo song
++++++++++++++++
This and “Cold Day in the Sun” are both really solid tunes. Props to Hawkins
Fun Fact: Thats Paul McCartney on the drums Im pretty sure
Gui Popts no shit Sherlock
I dropped by to have a listen to McCartney's drumming. Too bad he's playing on such throw-away tune.
Sebastian Maharg you're being very subjective there my friend
Opinions aren't meant to be objective. I'm not saying it's a matter of fact. It's just that, sadly, I find this track itself very underwhelimg. Especially given the sheer amount of talent recording it.
i love this tune reminds me of roger taylor
Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man.
Legato molto a questa canzone...difatti è stata l'ultima canzone ascoltata prima di entrare in sala operatoria
My favorite album's song
mine too <3
Paul McCartney in the drums awesome
Ok sorry bout the cunt, but the rest stands!
Playing this song everyday...Taylor is so rad...
It reminds me a bit of Oasis "The girl in the dirty shirt" !
Pensei a mesma coisaaaaa
Taylor Hawkins rules!
Agreed, except Paul McCartney plays drums on this track.
Andrew Galloway who doesn't know this.
Flo Ryan I didn’t.
Andrew, he meant that Taylor Hawkins sings on this song.
