Beautiful and underrated song

On the Mend was always a beautiful song, but this live version is simply gorgeous. I found this version while I was on the recovery from something that nearly destroyed me, and it was apropos that I send it and its first verse and chorus to a friend who came running worried.

I heard this song for the first time today. Yeah, it's the first time I've ever found this song in my life. About 15 years late. No matter how long it's been, I could tell right away what this song was about. He is anxious for the recovery of his beloved friend. I'm glad Dave got his friend back and was able to play this song with him. They're still making music together and I'm glad I can hear it in this far country.

I live on a tropical island yes. In 2001 Taylor OD’d on Heroin. When he was in a coma, Dave wrote this song about him. Re-listen to this song from Dave’s point of view. His friend was on the verge of dying, and he was on the mend. If Taylor died, Dave wanted to die with him. He was on the mend.

I live on a tropical island I highly recommend you take a couple hours of your day to watch Back and Forth on Netlfix. It’ll explain everything really well. It’s an excellent movie in general about these guys

Hay que pensar que dave habia perdido a kurt; por el poco y nada se pudo hacer ya que estaba sumerjido en las drogas y haber perdido a taylor habria sido demasiado el dolor para el en el documental back and forth comenta que el pensaba en dejar la musica por que pensaba que la musica equivalia desgracias por algo taylor no partio porque tenia mas cosas para el la vida como por ejemplo tener una gran carrera musical junto a dave su amigo del alma
