Foo Fighters - Make It Right Lyrics

Everybody needs, everybody needs
Needs a little suffer
I just wanna do, I just wanna do
Do a little number
Bite the hand that feeds, bite the hand that feeds
Bite a little harder
What's it gonna take, what's it gonna take
Take a lover

Hop on the train to nowhere baby
Don't you wanna hitch a ride?
Lights go out and your head starts spinning
Someone got you hypnotized
Down on the chain, your bad tuxedo
Brother can you spare a dime?
Count what's left when it's all gone wrong
How you gonna make it right?
How you gonna make it right?

Everybody breathe, everybody breathe
Breathe a little deeper
Got no soul to keep, got no soul to keep
Ain't no brother's keeper
I don't fuckin' need, I don't fuckin' need
I don't need a matyr
Who's it gonna be? Who's it gonna be?
Gonna be another

Hop on the train to nowhere baby
Don't you wanna hitch a ride?
Lights go out and your head starts spinning
Someone got you hypnotized
Down on the chain, your bad tuxedo
Brother can you spare a dime?
Count what's left when it's all gone wrong
How you gonna make it right?
How you gonna make it right?
Gonna make it right
How you gonna make it right?
Gonna make it right

Hop on the train to nowhere baby
Don't you wanna hitch a ride?
Lights go out and your head starts spinning
Someone got you hypnotized
Down on the chain, your bad tuxedo
Brother can you spare a dime?
Count what's left when it's all gone wrong
How you gonna make it right?
How you gonna make it right?
How you gonna make it right?
Gonna make it right
Gonna make it right

Foo Fighters Make It Right Comments
  1. Joshua Rodriguez

    The guitar is hype!

  2. mama of the best

This song sounds lime a mix of so many great old school bands, mixed in with Foo Fighters flare. Love it!!

  3. Stephen Clarke

The guitar reminds me of Zepplin and Sabbath, but his voice (at least at the beginning) gives me Motorhead vibes.

  4. Amber Bailey

do the foo fighters even play their new stuff at their concerts? they seem to only play songs off of their first 3 albums with maybe one or two newer songs

  5. Logan Waite

Wait is that justin Timberlake going lalalalallalalalal

  6. Yeats Bell

    anybody notice justin timeberlake

  7. notrehtA hannaH

My cousins think foo fighters is old people’s music while my Aunty and I are really into it.
I even went to the 2018 concert in Australia.

  8. Justin Hall

    Vibration right.

  9. Thomas Jackson

    #Sub2PewDiePie

  10. Simone Rudov

The rise of the year of the dog was like that year of the goat 2015.... But they are the perfect ppl and they won't ever know how to communicate as we were over to the east wing... That's the South Tower.... These towers of wisdom and worship the Adam bandt and nearly 45 years of ineffective Australian Labour Party promises... And then the constitutional rights that were meant to help every one put our whole show back into the dark ages....

The Christians who worship cash always need someone to nail to the cross... They all realise they're wrong again and it will happen forever.... They like that bloke who told his brothers about a dream....

  11. one H

you know I got this gratin of noodles, spinach, cheese and meat ... but it lacks the sauce

  12. Maiden Maniacs

    My favorite of this album

  13. Lillithium

Led Zeppelin and Stone Temple Pilots

  28. flerper derper

    dat zeppelin feel

  29. Shawn Elliott

I struggle to listen to The Foo Fighters' newer albums, because in reality all I want to hear is The Colour and The Shape, Vol. 2.

    bizarrebehavior1974

I respect your opinion (and "The Colour and the Shape" is what made me fall in love with the Foo Fighters years ago) but what I love so much about them is that not every album and song sounds*exactly the same*. If that were the case, I would've gotten bored with their music a long time ago. And sure, I don't love every song on every album, but every album has songs on that I absolutely love, and that, in my opinion, is a rarity.

    Shirokun0823

bizarrebehavior1974 I agree, but you can't deny that a good throwback is nice on occasion. For instance: Do You Wanna Get High by Weezer.

  30. jonnyjib

Can't anyone not fucking comment that it sounds whatever fucking band and just dig the song?!?!

  31. Karen Grace

Fuck the idiots that say this album doesn't compete with their older stuff. .foo fighters ROCK! and always will. Great album. I love it

  32. Mau dL

At 1:00 you can hear Queens of the Stone Age leaking into the recording room.

    MrAnMiP

    QOTSA ❤ forever!

  33. Jennifer Uldricks

    Love it!

  34. Ad Aussie Dude

Fark me dead I love this...remove that lalala timberlake shit though,I have to mute that bit.

  35. luke erickson

Honestly I love this album it's different but it's definitely not blowing up like they thought it would

  36. Carlos González

Empieza igual que el Himno del América

  37. Benny Boo

I saw the Foo Fighters in concert and it was LIT (November 6,2017 concert)

    jackaloupe04

I'm going to see them in July. Cant wait

    Amy S

    April - West Palm Beach

  38. Laura Amey

I get a 70s disco vibe mixed with deep Black Sabbath roots

  39. Kathy Griffith

Love this album! Saw them in Knoxville Tennessee and they killed it. The whole show!

  40. TheRedLester 22

I saw this live a few days ago and they sound exactly the same, the singers in the backround were there and omg the struts opened. It was a night I'll never forget

    Gabe Watrous

TheRedLester 22 the struts should be way more popular!!

    daniel wolfhard

the struts were amazing!! can't believe i never heard of them. luke spiller has an amazing voice. he came out and sang bowie's under pressure with the foos, it was unforgettable. hands down best concert i could ask for.

  41. FaZe Cod_lover

vous connaissez la partie quand il va "ah ah ah ah ah" en arrière-plan? (2:35), c'est Justin Timberlake

  42. FaZe Cod_lover

you know the part when it goes "ah ah ah ah ah" in the background? (2:35), Thats Justin Timberlake

  43. randyrrs

Good to see foo fighters hasn't sold out to pop music unlike some other bands

  44. Rhesa Browning

Thank you Greg. Remember Geggy Tah all those years ago. Keep it going.

  45. HANG_DOWN_STANKY

title of the album says it all

  46. Karen Ward

Taylor Hawkins kicks ass on this song!

  47. AgreeingWheat 76

Everybody breath everybody breath a little, deeper

  48. Michael Chiorello

Imperial Drag comes to mind, yeah.

  49. Bryce Treese

Pretty Solid....5 really good songs. Ranks up there with WL....but not as good as TCATS

  50. Mitch Wotton

This is the only song on the album i dislike, the guitar riff sounds like generic, royalty free hard rock that you hear in the background of those shitty D.I.Y. craft videos that your great aunt shares on facebook

  51. Bill Tolles

    Killer Riff!!!
    #FooFighters

  52. Josie Solis

  53. intergalactic24

This song reminds me of sling blade movie ! Lol when Doyle and his bandmates are jamming that shitty song in the back yard,, ha ha and the neighbor yells at him

    bizarrebehavior1974

Hahahah! Totally! ("I play cards with J.D. Shellnut! The chief of PO-lice!") That aside, I do love this song. :)

  54. Joe Cunningham

A lot of comments refer to what it reminds them of. I think this song screams Lenny gravitz. Hope I spelled it right, lol

    Joe Cunningham

I totally didn't. Lol. I blame the booze

  55. morgan evans

you can't tell it is timberlake on it at all. i don't think i would have a cameo like that and effect and half bury it so much you can't recognize him. he has a great voice, they coulda done something cooler.

  56. Lisa Bessell

    LOVE IT

  57. Todd B

Has some of the same sounds as Alice Cooper's track Lace and Whisky

  58. Kairona Rosana

Drumming in the beginning reminds me of Stay Away by Nirvana

    planetmaxwell01

that might be because the beats were written by the same drummer

  59. kingisback LJK

    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

  60. John Hager

    Grrrreat! Hawkins slays it!

  61. DrummuseTimbo

    LOVE THE FOO's!!!!

  62. bleep77

Justin Timberlake is doing the "la la's" in this song

    Devan workman

    bleep77 who gives a fuck

    bleep77

Well, I don't give a fuck that you don't, so piss off

    Devan workman

bleep77 How childish to tell someone to piss off.

    bleep77

Yeah I know. I'm so childish. What can we do?

  63. Jake Oliver

    *reads comments*
Song evokes comparisons to Led Zeppelin, Joe Walsh, Mountain and Motorhead (not my words). I'm loving this album. I'm glad they take their time.

    Marcus Little

    Jake Oliver and Lenny Kravitz

    planetmaxwell01

yet sounds like NONE of them. those people saying that must not listen to those groups much. Make It Right sounds nothing like ANY OF THEM. I could however hear lenny kravitz doing this tune.

    GodNotAvailable

Holy shit that's what this song sounds like! Motorhead! I mean not at all in the chorus but those fast-paced parts with the bassline and soft cymbal rolls that you can hear in the last 15 seconds of the song and in the beginning.

  64. Cody Romaine

    SO MUCH GROOVE

  65. Ralph Jones

    sounds like a kravitz song

    thinga majacky

Ralph Jones thank you. I have been telling my brain this for months and now I have proof because you think the same.

  66. Lillian Pandola

    David seriously Justin
Kurt would be rolling in his Fucking Grave if you ever heard the song.

the Foo Fighters are the most douchiest band ever.

    Ty Manning

Cause you’d know what Kurt would think (*sarcasm*). Justin’s barely in the frickin’ song to begin with. Just enjoy the music. It shouldn’t matter who plays the song as long as it’s done well. A few backup vocals from a pop singer just singing la la la, doesn’t particularly hurt the song.

    daniel wolfhard

boo hoo. you sure don't seem to know a lot about cobain. he would be disgusted by an exclusive remark like this.

in any case, it's grohl's band, not kurt's, not yours. if you don't like who he works on his music with, then get over it. don't use kurt as a fucking pity factor.

  67. Andrew McQueen

    ROCK N MUTHA FUCKIN ROLL!!!!

  68. G-bone

Everyone should have a copy of this on hand at all times in case aliens invade and want to know what awesome is.

  69. Jordan Allen

They have finally gone from a band i only like the first two albums of, to a band i now like their first two plus this one.

  70. aj2674

Thank everything holy you guys lost that "Wall of sound" bs you had in the last record. I was starting worry you forgot less is more. Holy shit that doesn't mean Pat or Chris shouldn't play, but sometimes the three of you can't find your own lanes and it gets to be too much. My two cents anyway, no way I'll cut through all the yes's you get already. This is good stuff.

  71. Band of Missfits

    Sounding very Zeppelin

  72. Leonard Hernandez

Jesus that producer Dave is working with knows what he's doing I heard he worked with sia an Adel an th hear how he approaches the Foos jus gave them such a deeper bigger heavier chucky sound well produced it brought out the best in the foo fighters sound the bass an drums kicked an the leads an vocals peak jus right

  73. XAOC

    Step up from sonic highways

  74. Edward Archer

That main guitar riff is the meaning of life

  75. Abraham Ruiz

meh, this is honestly the weakest song on the album for me.

  76. Tranthony 17

Does have this huge Led Zeppelin and Beach Boys vibe!!!

  77. The RayeZ Revolution

This song has an old school rock sound. That guitar reminds me of a Ozzy song. I just can't remember which one.

    codjh9

Kinda reminds me of early Aerosmith too (the guitar).

    Anthony Tran

    codjh9 and Led ZEP IMO

  78. The BLACK bucket show!

Todavia no termino de escuchar esta cancion y ya se volvio una de mis favoritas sin contar.. the sky, the Line y Run

  79. Therealgamer1300

Sounds like the entire king animal album by soundgarden and I love it

  80. TheMikesilverman

    i would bang dave grohl....

    Cory R

    You're a dude, shutup.

    Slab Of Beef

Cory R so? Why can’t he just bang Dave Grohl?

    Ms Toast

    Who wouldn't? 😃

    thinga majacky

  81. Osmar Rodríguez

  82. John Matlosz

    Zeppelin vibes.

    MarveltheCross316

Dave Grohl is a huge Zeppelin fan

    Claudia Largaespada

That’s exactly what I thought and that why I love it

  83. MrTogene

    oooooohhhhh mmmyyyyyyyy

  84. Shane Trainor

I really wish they wouldn't put the ahhhs in every chorus of every song, it would be so much better without them

  85. VistaRecordsBoard

Awesome song. Killer riffs, great vocals, great harmonies - Dave hit it out of the park with this one!

    pete

When hasn’t he lol. Dave is the prime of what we need modern musicians to be.

    Donie .Ordiales

is it just me or this doesnt sound like FF? like the song ''Wheels''

  86. Mateo Diaz

OMG! Justin is sooo talented, mind-blowing!

  87. Nick Jamison Music

Kind of reminds me of Mississippi Queen by Mountain. Love it!!! 💪🏾!!!

    TGWaddler

Nick Jamison Music if you know what I mean

    Nick Jamison Music

Poppa Sweets She Taught Me Evrythang

    Ghettos Beard

    Kinda just needs some cowbell😂

  88. lipsticklezy

Love this shit is awesome 👏🏻!🎸🎸❤️❤️ FF 4 Ever

  89. rob hartmania

Justin Is singing backing vocal harmonies for the song. He's on it, just in the background. Honestly his voice wouldn't fit with this style song on lead vocals so its nice of him to provide backing harmonies.

    Cody Romaine

    robhartjr1993 I think he's just doing the "LA's".

Dallin's Birthday Is Next Week Films

    @Cody Romaine yup

  90. Robert Maglicco

This reminds of old Joe Walsh. It fucking rules.

    Robert Maglicco

Franz Farmer Oh ok. So out of all of the comments on this video, you decide to use mkne to spew your useless gibberish 😂 If you don't like it, don't listen.

    Deb D

I get the Joe Walsh vibe. Especially, the main riff. It does rule.

    Amanda Blake

Franz Farmer if you can't appreciate this album...then idk...you don't know what musical talent is. What do you listen to?

    Hannah Rose

I can hear it. I saw a bunch of people not liking this album but I don’t get the hate tbh.

  91. Bob Bop Perano

I hear this song and I picture the video being the Foo's all driving semi's in a big convoy.
Like, Dave and a big old dog riding shotgun. Taylor and Pat in another truck. Taylor's spitting tobacco out the window. Then Pat smacking him upside the head as a station wagon with kids in the back passes by. Pat holds out a dirty foam spit cup angrily, spits his chaw in it, hands it to Taylor just as he takes his eyes off the road and spills the tobacco juice on himself.

I haven't figured the rest out yet. But, i'd definitely like to see a chimp sidekick throw a banana peel out the window making another truck skid ;)

    Austin Franklin

That's quite imaginative... but I like it :D

    Dylan Hynds

I like the idea of with having Dave with a dog, and the use of a chimp. Would be a good clip I reckon

  92. Jerry P

Am i the only one looking for the "lalalalla" part in every songs of th new album? Lmaoooo poor jt

    Nathaniel Howard

I've been looking for so long

    Debra Kaiser

    Justin is honored, I'm sure!

  93. CrazyKitKat

FUCKING AMAZING ALBUM. Coming from a long time Foo Fighters fan this is by far the best album from you guys and honestly the best album ever in a long ass time

    John Smith

CrazyKitKat I would not say the best album but this is a great album none the less

    CrazyKitKat

John Smith mhmm I mean for me I just love almost every song on this album and that's rare

    Cory R

Nothing beats Dave's original debut album, but this is still pretty good.

  94. Adam Moore

    Best song on the album?

    Joel Pinckney

First time through that's what I thought. Listened to it several times since, and I still feel the same. This album, in its complete form, is vastly different from all of their others.

    GodNotAvailable

I love it but it's only my 4th. 3rd is Sky is a Neighborhood, 2nd La Dee Da, 1st Sunday Rain.

  95. Jye Backhouse

For some reason I get an Alice in Chains vibe from this song

    luis chavez

John Smith it just has that vibe from about 1:00 to 1:12

    John Smith

luis chavez yea I can hear it a little now

    joshua johnson

Alice In Chains??? Hmmm...maybe Stone temple pilots vibe

    Tom Dulle

Aye back house think it's Alice In Chains meets Deep Purple.

    GodNotAvailable

Jye Blackhouse I can't hear it in this song, but Sunday Rain gave off some unmistakable Alice in Chains vibes for me.

  96. Estephanie Reyes Vega

2 people can't make it right lol

  97. Conrailfan2323

    Fucking love it.

  98. Jojo490

  99. Marloctopus Pulpo

In some way, this reminds me to Motörhead.

    Anthony Mowatt

Marloctopus Pulpo our boy Dave even said this album will be like Motörhead's version of sgt pepper

    Marloctopus Pulpo

    Anthony Mowatt That makes sense!

    John Quincy Wydell

100% agree. The initial guitar riff had a ZZ Top feel to it as well.

    mikey1974 hetfield

    Lets not go that far.
