Great song from a very underrated album, its got one of their best choruses with that descending/ascending riff.

This is the most dark and most grunge sounding Foo Fighters song and I absolutely fucking love it.

2002 was such a good year for music. One by One from Foo Fighters, Maladroit (super underrated) from Weezer, and the crowned jewel that is Songs for the Deaf from Queens of the Stone Age

@Nathan Robinson I fully agree. I know it sounds biased but I think there is not a single bad album from the foo's.

+Max Moschen No bad ones. I think Color and Shape and Wasting Light are their best. One be One is actually my favorite, but that was my first FF album. I liked a lot of 2002 albums. Foos, Bowie, Audio Slave, QotSA, Rush. I loved all of those albums.

He hates this album because of the times when they recorded it. Taylor was in drugs rehab and there were a lot of problems with their relationship. After this album they recorded In your honor wich was supposed to be the last FF album, but they fought their group problems and nowadays we have 'em together! :D

this album has two versions, one is calle the Million Dollars One by One cuz they spent that amout and wasted all their time, taylor was having bad times, dave was about to end the band and join Queens of The Stone Age, then they went to the Coachella 2003 (maybe is another year) and they played like never before and realized that they coulndt just finish the band, he wrote times like theses and they re-recorded the entire album in one week, he loves this album, the one before all that trouble.
