Fogerty, John - When Will I Be Loved Lyrics
I've been cheated, been mistreated
When will I be loved?
I've been pushed down, I've been pushed 'round
When will I be loved?
She always breaks my heart in two, it happens every time.
I've been made blue, I've been lied to
When will I be loved?
When I find a new girl that I want for mine
She always breaks my heart in two, it happens every time.
I've been cheated, been mistreated
When will I be loved?
Tell me, when will I be loved?

Hello, can someone tell me if this song, I mean sung by J. Fogerty, may be considered as country music? Thank you.
It's on his album The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again.
And off in the sunset he went..the broken down cowboy with a girl from Indiana🙂👍
Would love to have John cover Drivin my Life Away Eddie Rabbit tune he would nail it

VIVA O JHON FOGERTY...
VIVA O CREEDENCE...💖💖🌷💋✌
wow a man <3
Wasn't aware of this version until now but it's great ! Interesting to compare the Everlys original with Linda Ronstadt's and with this one. Some genius on the 1957 original (Chet Atkins? Hank Garland?) came up with two timelessly great guitar licks. The first kicks in right at the beginning and is just "ber dang ber dang". The second longer one, comes in after about 20 bars to bridge between the verses and it goes "dang berdang berdang berdang berdang berdang ber diddy-di diddy-di bang" . And the song doesn't work if you don't include at least a variant of these !! Linda's guitarist (Waddy Wachtel) adapts both licks to great effect. And John F's version, here, has them too - but here they're shared out between lead guitar and steel guitar. Thank you Phil Everly. (RIP) It's a simple song but an insanely great one.
Grandioso, inolvidable, talento puro!
belleza para los oídos!!!!!
Sin Palabras, desde Argentina, gracias animal. Genio de la Musica.

John kills it here..what a voice!

Sara Connor i hear that !
A true Rock Icon
Love it!!!
Nice cover !
ADORO ESSE CARA ESSE VÍDOO. O MAIS LINDO DE TUDO É VER A ESPOSA DELE NO FINAL...
my new favorite version of this tune!
After a song has been recorded by the Everly's and Linda Ronstadt, you kinda know it can't get any better. But this was fun to watch. Phil probably built a house just on his take for this song. May he rest in peace.
Good cover of the great Everly Brothers song. RIP Phil Everly.
Wow, Fogerty and The Boss, Incredible! Great song too. RIP Phil Everly.
Twinsfan7777 a munch of overrated hate USA leftards
Dennis
Wtf is a leftard? And why are you munching on them? XD
I just read on Wiki (must be true) that this song was sung by both

He was in a foursome with Van Zandt, Scialfa, and Clarence at the time.

Vevo thank you sooo much
very enjoyable video indeed and brill music from John and his band
Grosooooo Johnnnn!!!!
Quite good but not anywhere near as good as the original Everly Brothers version
I think he's Bruce Sprinsteen
He can't, they turned him down for making excessive sense
Wow. John Fogerty should've dueted with Linda Ronstadt for his one.
Who is doing the vocals at 1:46-1:56 mark?
Sweet Caroline the boss aka Bruce Springsteen
you should get a govt. job.
John Fogerty rules!
Fogerty and Springsteen...thanks Vevo!
I love the harmony at the end... it´s masterpiece
I hate Vevo and this song, Linda should kick him in the balls for this.
God I love John Fogerty.
corporate packaging can't kill creativity thank god...everlys,linda, now john, itdon't get any better!!!
Very Good! I like you, John!
You are my favorite guitar player!
The best clip in this years!!
@GreenLizard1000 Without Vevo you must pay for Youtube, thanks to Vevo you dont have to pay.
What in the hell.
@GreenLizard1000 I would gladly pay a monthly or yearly fee to not have to watch the adds... I'm sure other people would do so also.
I like Linda Ronstadt's version! But I"m a huge John Fogerty fan.
Everly Brothers version is much better.
Yes, how dare Vevo allow their copyrighted material to be played for free in the whole world. That is very selfish of them. I can't stand how the video plays the same as all other videos but has the word Vevo in front of the band name. I think everyone who hates this awful free service should protest by either never posting again or never watching a Vevo video all together. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Please get over it.
Love love love this version first time ive heard it 💗💗💗💗
Sa tenue cow boy est parfaite.
@yendor123abc What the f*** is Vevo ?
Yes I hate vevo too. I would love to see this great fogerty video elsewhere
i love this music video and song. i sure wish bruce was in the video but i like that they incorporated him in the wanted poster

damn, the waitress is hot as hell
the Boss! my idol!
Bruce is the guy in the wanted poster.. The bushy bearded guy sure looks like Mick Fleetwood to me...
Steven Dehlinger I’m pretty sure that’s Bruce as it shows that same guy in jail, which is bruce.
FANTASTIC!!!
@goob67896 Same here!!! All these complaints about vevo...I could care less =P
60.000th viewer.. People don't understand music these days..
i find it funny that they have the technology for electric guitars but NOT for a drum set..lol
Saw this on CMT the other day. I was shocked to hear The Boss doing vocals on this, but it was awesome!
Just love this music
GREAT!!!
@MrDudemate you know what I mean lol
@chickenTaco456
Funny I don't get any ads or cut out parts of the song. Then again I am using firefox with adblock.

The song was written by Phil Everly. The Everly Brothers hit no. 8 on the pop charts in 1960 with their original version on Cadence. Linda Ronstadt reached no. 2 on the pop charts and no. 1 on the country charts in 1975. Tanya Tucker, Dolly Parton, and Carrie Underwood have also performed this song. The original Everly Brothers version was in the Tom Cruise movie Cocktail in the 1980s.
King of Country!! :D
