Fogelberg, Dan - Blind To The Truth Lyrics

In the overcrowded cities where the nights are bright as day
You spend your weekly paycheck and turn your eyes away
From the crisis we've created with our self-indulgent ways
Living like there's no tomorrow, well that just might be the case

Now they're tearing down the forests and the jungles of Brazil
Without a second thought about the species that they kill
But extinction is forever and still the forests fall
And push it ever closer to extinction for us all

But you're so blind to the truth, blind to the truth
And you can't see nothing
Cause you're so blind to the truth, blind to the truth
And the judgment day is coming

Now the politicians bicker on the early evening news
Pledging their allegiance to whoever they can use
The corporate bosses snicker as they watch the profits soar
They don't care what they make next month just as long as it is more

They take our farms and marshlands, drive nature to the wall
Just so they can build another Goddamn shopping mall
And it doesn't seem to matter if they cannot see the stars
As long as they can keep on building obsolescent cars

They're so blind to the truth, blind to the truth
No they can't see nothing
They're so blind to the truth, blind to the truth
But the judgment day is coming

Now you cannot drink the water and you cannot breathe the air
The sky is ripping open and you still don't seem to care
The soil is tired and toxic and unable to provide
The clock is running out and there is nowhere left to hide

Now there's laws that we must live by and they're not the laws of man
Can't you see the shadow that moves across this land
The future is upon us and there's so much we must do
And you know I can't ignore it and my friend neither can you

Unless you're blind to the truth, blind to the truth
And you can't see nothing
You're so blind to the truth, blind to the truth
But the judgment day is coming

The 99 Liars and the 1Truther
    By Aaron Peterson

    there was 100 people
and 99 of them where liars and only one of them was not a liar
    he was a truther

and the 99 liars where asked by each other if they where lying about such and such
and the 99 liars, because they did not want to get caught in telling a lie,
they all told a second lie to the liars asking
and so the liars all remained as liars with not one of them coming clean
and telling the truth to the other liars

and then the 99 liars all asked the 1 truther if he was lying about what he was telling the truth,
and they did not ask him if he was telling the truth as some one who was a truther,
but they all asked him as if he was telling a lie, with the liars (who all where pretending to be truthers)
all hoping that the truther was like them... a liar

and the truther because he told the truth the first time
he told the truth the second time and the third and for ever after,
even though he saw that he was the only person out of the hundred people
who was telling the truth and who was not lying

    and then life went on...

and the truther (because of the 99 liars)
he ended up living on the streets of a city as a bum and a beggar
and he could not get a job any where
and his heart was broken and his mind twisted from all the people lying about who they where
and who where liars and who lied in order so that they could all save and protect their jobs
and their positions of status and authority and prestige, fame , celebrity status, power
and of course... all their MONEY,

of which the truther had absolutely none of the above
and he was a lone and broken man who was looked down upon and proverbially spit upon
and frowned upon by all the liars of the city who knew him or of him
and the liars some felt sorry for him and they would give him change in his beggars cup
and some would even hold charity events so that the organizations that dealt in charity
could get some money and so that the money would trickle down
to the beggar who was destitute and living on the city streets

and the charity organizations where all owned and run of course by liars
and the charity money that was suppose to go to charity only a small percentage
like 20 percent made it to the people who needed the money
and the other 80% of the money went into the pockets and bank accounts of the charity organizations

and some times the beggar would end up in jail
having been arrested for loitering and vagrancy and he would do time in jail
and only would be let out after he plead guilty to the charges of vagrancy

and it was not only the police officer who arrested the truther and who was one of the 99 liars
but it was also his attorney and the judge and the DA of the city
who where all members of the 99 club; the 99 liars of the one 100
where the beggar living on the street was the only truther and the other 99 people of the 100
where all liars... which  is the whole theme of this very sort story...

    ... of 1 truther and 99 liars

and of course the author could go on and on and on and include his whole family and friends
and lovers and wife (if he had one) who where also all members of the 99 club

and how they where all liars also who had lied multiple times over and over again, as having bold faces
while the truthers face was not as bold but only troubled, horrified and one of disbelief
from all the lies being told by the liars who where his family and friends and entrusted authority leaders of his city
and how they had literally destroyed the truthers life as the only one out of 100 people who told the truth
and who did not spin and get caught in the liars web of lies
and make the mountain of lies being told by his loved ones and fellow AMERICAN! citizens

... no, the short story could go on but it shant,
for what would be the point?

a beggars word of truth being read by an audience of 99 liars
and of whom who would be the only ones reading his short story

... would of course, any longer, be a waste of his proverbial breath...

9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB FALSE FLAG OPERATION!
