I've never really followed Flyleaf closely but this song played on Spotify and maaaan it is one of my favorite songs right now. I wasn't aware that they had gotten a new lead singer in their later years.

I have the feeling that the songwriting and execution could use a little more work to do more with Kirsten's voice. Part of the reason we all miss Lacey is because Lacey arrived already in that magic place where she knew how to stand out, not just as a unique voice but in how the songs themselves brought out the best in her abilities. Right now, Kirsten sounds a little... ordinary... by comparison. Her voice is incredibly enviable with a sweet belt and an awesome tone, but right now it's being used like a run-of-the-mill country voice. Flyleaf lost its drive with Lacey, and the songs have slowed down some, and I think that trend needs to be reversed. By all means change the style of the songwriting if it makes Kirsten's life easier and her performance better, but don't throw away the edge this band once had.

I mean, I of ALL people would understand that a band has to change, and evolve, but............what?

I think they should have just changed the name entirely. That way we didn't go into listening to the music like "This isn't Flyleaf."

As amazing a singer as Kristen is, I feel like the music Flyleaf is putting out has become generic. I don't think Lacey made up the whole band, but the huge difference between Flyleaf with her and without her is astonishing. This is the only song on the new album I've even remotely enjoyed. That makes me really sad because I do like Kristen's voice.

I agree somewhat. Their songs definitely seem less personal now, and more like a deliberate attempt to get on the radio. That said, musically they're just as good as ever.

I know what you mean. I love Kristen's voice as well, but some of the songs on this album sound like your average rock song you would hear. With Lacey, Flyleaf had this unique sound. Like with Memento Mori, to me, one of their best albums. It was just so different, yet so good. No hate to Kristen though. I actually really like this song and her voice is so clear.

I can't tell you how much this song reminds me of what my second ex tried to do..........Now, I'm just glad I'm not his marionette doll anymore! Thank God! God was looking out for me! You have no idea how much the song meant to me! 

What the fuck is wrong with you people!, you can't deny that Kristen is awesome -_- C'mon Lacey is amazing too and I knew flyleaf with her and used to it with her , we all miss her but that's not mean to hate on Kristen, her voice is awesome and also the way she sings, she's good and didn't ruin the band, I'm not saying she's better than lacey No! As much as i love lacey, no i dont think they should change the name. ONE person leaves the group and everyone freaks out. Sure, she started the band but she didnt copyright the name to just her. If you dont like Kristen May, just don't listen to them anymore.

Lovin' this song :D The music sounds like previous flyleaf stuff (a good thing) while still complimenting Kristen's sound (another good thing) and it keeps that great honesty that I always loved about Flyleaf. (that's the best part :P )

When I heard this girl sing some of the old flyleaf, I started to hate her. No one can do what lacey did, but this song is pretty good. They're starting to sound like paramore...

Getting tired of the missing Lacy comments. I'm also sad about it but I don't feel the need to remind everyone about it on every Flyleaf video. The new singer is fantastic and it would be really good if we could just leave it at that and move on. Honestly, think about how the band will feel if they get nothing but missing Lacy comments every video. This songs great - we should let them know that. Not remind them Lacy has left

Sound great, and no its not Lacey! guys and gals; Lacey god love her has found another path she has to walk. When we listen to to new music from Flyleaf our statements, comments should be about how well Kristen and the Boys perform. Like i love new Horizons and the ending would have gave me a tear had Lacey handed the mic to Kristen and they both hit a "New Horizons" together a hug and Lacey's shadow fading from the room. But that's just me
