First heard this song when i was suicidal, and I broke down crying. I was an atheist all my life until January 2018. Now I follow Jesus and I am HEALED of all depression (BY JESUS) and off all antidepressants which I was on for 10 years.

They played this song it gave me chills i heard Lacey sing this years ago it’s so powerful

I was an atheist all my life ...til last January...on the morning of my final suicide attempt.

I was a Marilyn Manson-style Drag-Queen, (NYX Lipsticks were my favorite, especially in black) Who suffered from public harassment, verbal abuse, humiliation, i was mocked...all by the general public.

I grew up in a judgemental legalistic abusive household.


And i was on every anti-Depressant in the book.

I suffered from Severe Chronic Manic depression, PTSD, Hallucinations Severe anxiety and had developmental issues in my brain.

I ran out of my bedroom crying and screaming “I CANNOT live my life like this anymore, I’m gonna become a Christian” —this was the The moment when everything began to change.

A couple months later on a warm Friday morning, I decided to make a BOLD decision to go to a church to get HELP, two dudes who {ACTUALLY Genuinely} cared about me began to pray for me....and I felt the depression, mental issues diminishing....

Then two days later, it was Easter Morning...I drove to the Church, NOT KNOWING what to expect....as the first Christian song “Resurrecting” by Elevation worship began to play ....

I could feel the LOVE OF GOD —ROARING THROUGH MY HEART

I began to Scream, 😭😭wail 😭😭😭😭and CRY 😭😭😭louder than all the insanely loud worship music,

(it felt like a rock concert, where all I could feel was LOVE,😭😭😭

I Thought to myself “how can these people actually look at me without mocking me for my appearance” and
WHAT THE HECK?!??!

And “How can these people possible look at (ME) with such LOVE AND COMPASSION streaming like a waterfall out of their eyes!!?!??!”

“Like ....Jesus LOVES me,...and he PREVENTED ALL MY SUICIDE Attempts...BECAUSE HE LOVES ME”


THAT SAME MORNING, it’s called EASTER...

My maker , Jesus, MY SAVIOR, WHOM I USED TO HATE,

...HEALED MY BRAIN AND MY HEART..

I’m now off every single one of those antidepressants, and am a {completely} HEALTHY INDIVIDUAL .... 🔥NO MORE Suicide , no more PTSD...

NO MORE DEPRESSION...

I discovered that Joy, and Happiness is WHO JESUS IS.

And that without him,
I could not be anything but suicidal and disabled..

Romans 6:1-6,John 3:1-6, and always Acts 2, 8:26-end are wonderful for the gospel, the beginning of the church and salvation, babtism and why , for all of these things! Hebrews 9 is great for the coming of the Lord, 2 Peter 1 is excellent for building on faith,1 Corinthians 13 is perfect for it's description of Love and how the time of miracles and signs will pass. James is perfect for why the world is the way it is and how to stay out of it! Psalms 1,2,3,4 are beautiful and needed when you are low and need comfort, as you will find in all of these other places as well! Being a christian is not easy because you are not "of the world" you are "in Christ" ! And the world hated Christ,but he died for us all, because all of us fall short of the glory of God! Meanding, we're not perfect! But through him, we have a choice and chance at eternal salvation Revelations 21,22 This world is not our home, it's temporary! We hope, and hope isn't seen, because if it was seen, we wouldn't have any reason to hope anymore! Yet, God still gives us more than that; we see his promises everyday just in everything around us! And in each other! We just have to trust in his understanding, instead of our own, because our way is not in ourselves! I know that one is the hardest, for me it always has been! But he even when I mess up everyday, he brings me back to remembrance, and I know it's far better and easier to be humbled and grateful and be with him than cold and bitter confused and alone in the world any day! And I have made that choice more times than I thought I would! But each of us has been given his own measure of faith, and it's equally important, and we're to build one another up! So I pray and hope with all my heart that that is what anyone takes from this! This is out of pure unconditional love, for I am not even my own judge, let alone another man's! We are all beloved children of God, and you are all so amazing and incredible it blows my mind every day when I get on here to see just what this generation is doing! The Gospel of Christ is good news. If this band can share the good news, that's what it's all about. Kaitlyn can come to salvation through something as simple as the band which she loves believing in Christ, and that's fine and dandy. I think people are scared to think Jesus can really have a passionate love for us. One that is so personal that it makes you ruined that such a huge and holy God could personally love someone. That is really due to part of the fatherless generation we live in, because without a natural father people do not know how to receive the father's love. This was my best friends favorite song ( the david crowder version) sadly I lost my best friend 12-17-11. This song was played tonight, at my friend's memorial service... He was killed this morning by a car running a red light. He was only 17 years old. ='( When I heard this song being played, I burst into tears. Rest In Peace, Jeremy. You are loved, and you will be missed. <3

About three or four years ago I was straying from God, I was agnostic and just didn't understand anymore. I made a friend at school and she just happened to show me Flyleaf, and their messages were what brought me back. When I finally gave in and turned to Jesus despite the things I didn't understand, He saved me and got me through the troubles I was facing. He gave me wisdom, love and hope. There is nothing in the world that can shake my faith now. We may give up, but God never does. <3

Then, something I, myself, doubt actually happened...... Four little lights appeared on my bedroom wall, across the room. I stopped crying, and felt relief wash over me. But, then, I got scared. I was a little kid and didn't understand what was going on very well. I felt a tremendous fear, and ran out of the room. I still wonder what happened even today.. and No, it was Not a car or the sunlight through the blinds (I checked). Why would there suddenly be 4 lights when I was crying for 4 people?

I thought about other family members that died before I could even know them. Suddenly I was filled with grief and started crying. I cried and cried... so hard that my throat began to hurt. Finally, I calmed down. Even more surprising, I was suddenly filled with a desire to ask something of God. I asked him, with a tearful and grief filled voice, "God, please, please... let me see them.. I don't care if you don't ever do anything else for me again.... but.. Please....." and I cried some more.

Once, when I was 8, I woke up one morning and thought. I just thought. I thought about my blood grandfather, who died when I was 1, so I don't remember him... all I recall is a glimpse of a familiar hand... that's all. I also thought about Nanny Warren. She was eighty years old when she died, at the time I was 5. She had horrible stomach problems, but doctors could never figure out why... I was her only grandchild that would hug and kiss her. The other ones avoided her because she was so old.
