I wanted to kill my self when I heard your music about a decade ago.. But your music in the end flipped it around for me ...

I wish more bands existed like Fly Leaf...hard rock with a message. There's not many mainstream Christian rock bands out there right now, or at least not many that's overly popular. It'd be nice to listen to hard rock that's not about killing, death, sex, or drugs/ alcohol. I really enjoyed Fly Leaf and wish they would reunite! There is also just something about a great female rock lead vocalist paired with those hard guitars....there's not enough of that, either! I also hate how most female rockers get put into the pop category just b/c they're female singers and voices probably aren't perceived as hard enough for rock and roll...not true! Anyways, this a great band and great song. I remember hearing "I"m so Sick" for the first time at about 19 years old and I liked them right away. They're a little bit like Avril Lavigne and Paramore, but honestly I liked Fly Leaf so much more than Paramore!

In case anyone is wondering, this song is about a woman Lacey knew (Layla) that had a medical condition that kept her bedridden for months at a time, but even through the pain and confinement, she remained positive, loving to her husband, and happy to be alive.
