Avenged sevenfold should listen to this album if they're really looking to be taken seriously in the progressive thrash metal sweepstakes. Because this is the real stuff I think they tried to get at with their the stage release, which was way off the mark compared to this great release by the legendary flotsam and jetsam!

How the hell did they come up with such amazing riffs, it kind of reminds me of trivium style riffs.

@Mark Jaramillo if you don't like trivium, that's fine. not to start an argument, but trivium are extremely talented musicians, who always continue to evolve and bring something new to the table. Have you heard their latest album, the sin and the sentence?? It is amazing. The title track and thrown into the fire are such amazing track's!!!

@INGSOC All Nu-Metal to me this band's Music all sounds to same to me.

@Mark Jaramillo trivium is classified thrash revival or metalcore. Nu metal is limp bizkit, korn, linkin park ect.
