people think you can't say hi to a stranger in new york. i've lived in upstate new york all my life and i do it all the time. when i go to a different state people always ask me why new yorker's don't look or talk to each other. i laugh and tell them stop watching the TV. this pass January i was hiking in Arkansas in petit jean state park (BEAUTIFUL PARK) and a small group of people in the late 20's boo me because of my yankee jacket. other than that i had a great time meeting and getting to know the Arkansan's. now if you compare the NYC that has more people that all the other states as a whole. you'll be out of breath trying to say hi before you get to the other end of the street. think about people. you'll see more people in two minutes than you'll see in a day in the other states. all in all people are good the media makes us scared of each other. you treat others with respect and you'll get kindness in return. and don't let a few bad apples harden you heart.
