Fleetwood Mac - Silver Girl Lyrics
She was a silver girl
Lost in a high tech world
She was a golden girl
Immersed in a hard core world
She would have preferred
But that's all right
She's on her way
She had the Midas touch
She was Lady Luck
She's got a million bucks
And she looks like it
She's had a few hard times
Sometimes it blows her mind
Those papers she never signed
Sometimes she was just an actress
But you'll never really know
A shadow moves across her face
You cannot see her soul
Unless she lets you...
See her soul
She was a girlie girl
Caught in a man's world
And as her world turns
She feels so alone
Still she's a danger girl
Insane far beyond her years
On some things she's very clear
She's a wild adventurer
Sometimes she was just an actress
But you'll never really know
A shadow moves across her face
You cannot see her soul
Sometimes she was just an actress
But you'll never really know
A shadow moves across her face
You cannot see her soul
You cannot see her soul
You cannot see her soul
You cannot see her soul unless she lets you
See her soul...
See her soul, if she lets you
See her soul
Sometimes... she's an actress
You'll never really know
Shadows move across her face
You cannot see her soul
You cannot see her soul

Some of Stevies best songs are on Say you Will.
Reminds me of my x
RIP my sister. 3/5/18. :(
Wonderful song.
"Thrown Down", "Silver Girl"😛..from this album! Stevie Nicks is a genius singer songwriter, she knows how to write songs for her unique voice. She's in the top 5, of greatest rock n roll singer-songwriter artists ever, male or female, number one depending on the mood! I've been discovering these demos released lately, my God, so many are better than original, because they showcase Stevie's voice that often gets a bit lost by Producers. Not that the originals aren't incredible, but she's so damn talented in the rawest of forms..
🤘🤘🤘
one of my favorite songs. Love this ladies voice. So original.
She is the queen of rock-n-roll!!
Love this song... it has such meaning.

Awesome song......thanks daddy
Again, HOW WAS THIS NOT RELEASED AS A SINGLE?! It's as much a song about Stevie as it is about Sheryl Crow. Possibly Stevie's best vocal performance on Say You Will.
Really great song! I agree.
Love this song!
I can Relate to this Song!!!!!
I've listened to this song dozens of times, but it hit me like a ton of bricks this morning. One of my aunt's passed away in Oct, and this fits her to a TEE. She was very much silver girl, lost in a high tech world. Until the day she died she never once touched a computer, and still used a transistor radio to listen to ball games. Thank you Stevie, for making such moving, heartfelt songs. This will always be aunt Nancy's song now.
I love this.
