After amost 30 years I listened to this song for the last time, for absolutely no reason the lyrics and music came to my memory...I played it on YouTube and it took me back to what was going on in my life and in the world at that time and I realized how lucky I've been to have lived and experienced changes in the world these last 30 - 35 years...
Thank you Fleetwood Mac for bringing such an incredible composition to life to make it part of one's own history....

Lindsey is playing a George Harrisonesque slide here. It also has intricate layers of sound like a Brian Wilson tune who was a huge influence on Lindsey. Hard to believe he’s no longer in the band.

Not too shabby for a little village girl (Christine) from NW England, eh?! Actually, Fleetwood Mac has always delivered a fully developed sound from even their early days. For me however, it's that guitar that males me think of early Mac sounds. But you are right. This is one of those songs you just have to stop what you're doing and LISTEN to... maybe over and over a while. Lol!
