Great song and video! The model year difference doesn't bother me at all - since the '65 and '66 were almost identical, it could quite plausibly be a '65 with a few '66 parts on it.

Great job on the video and ohhh man, that's a nice ride. I have a 2008 red one myself and it takes a bit of a cue from the first gen ones, though obviously not quite the same. I'd love to have a classic, if only I could afford one and the upkeep to do it justice.

The creators, Jason and Daniel, are aware of the fact that the Mustang appearing in the video is not a 1965, but a 1966 model. However, the appearance of the vehicle is similar to the '65 model; not to mention that this video was very low budget and fan-based.

Excellent video. I got one kinda like it. But its Blue...funny thing, my Speedo is at 75,578 (175,578) '66's are way nicer then the '65's anyways. I got the Magnum 500's 14 by 7's with same tires even. Same stance too - lookin good.

I am rebuilding a 1966 Mustang now that should be back on the road this summer. Only thing is mine is 3/8 scale and has a 1 cylinder Briggs motor good for 3.5 HP. Look for the videos once I get it finished.

Actually, the grille is a '66 model. The '65 had the vertical and horizontal bars coming out of the "corral". And the instrument cluster could be from a '65 GT, but that cluster was standard in '66.
