what is the key of this version?

Lovely. Jerome Kern's melody and Oscar Hammerstein's lyrics ain't bad either. Nelson Riddle orchestra. Knew it had to be some great like that. I'm assuming he arranged this, as well. Such a gem all the way around.

Okay, the brass irruptions were the style in the '40s and '50s, but I still have no idea why anyone would disrupt "All the Things You Are" with those harsh trumpet blasts.

Our favorite song...I sang this on College radio in 1953 to my future wife...fondest memories every time we play Ella, or Frank.

What a lovely song this is. If you sing at all you know what pleasure it brings to sing it.

There are songs that seem have been composed for determined singers. Ella, for example: 'All the things ...', 'Moonlight in Vermont', 'Begin the beguine', 'Just one of those things'. No one of these compositions stayed better by other voice.

The one and only, best pop singer of all times. Had the great pleasure to see her at the U of W many years ago. Never will forget that show.

Ella.....her amazing timing and lyric interpretation cannot be rivalled. I've studied her for nearly 25 years and still get breathless at her phrasing. This is a wonderful medium swing rendition. Fabulous strings and horns. Talk about chill bumps!
