Firehouse - Reach For The Sky. I hate that some of these bands were called “hair bands”. But I was a hair band freak. Yeah you can be bald and love hair bands, I checked. Anyways you had a lot of these bands that were just puppets that put some noise and lyrics together in the hair band era and barely had 15 minutes of fame and it was not as good as bands that actually stood out. But bands like Extreme, Tesla and Firehouse (and many more) had something special. Tunes that make you bob your head with the groove. The talent just moves you. You can tell time and effort went into these types of bands. The guitarist always stood out and the lyrics meant something and the whole band was a tight team that rock your socks right off. Bill Leverty was so underrated as a guitarist,man. Dude was legit.

Fun little fact: The snare sound of this album is the exact same as Dream Theater’s Images & Words album. This was due to David Prater being the producer for both albums.
