Songs like these have shown me everything I've been basically trying to figure out what I'm trying to comprehend. Songs like these have made me believe in greater things. Back then about a couple years ago you could have said I was maybe something like an athiest, but now I'm seeing everything that God has made us, and that our Creator is greater than anything that has ever been.

If it's about god or not, if you believe in god or not, you should always let this song mean what it means to YOU not what it means to who wrote it or someone else who's listening to it. Every song has an original meaning that the writer used but YOU can interpret it however you want. It can be about anything that you believe it's about (: I see it as both god and love. That's because god and my boyfriend have both lead me to feeling great about myself and the life I'm living. So who cares what the real meaning was? Interpret it however you want.

Even through all this hurt... it's like through this song... God was speaking to me and asking why I'm fighting him. I just want to point out to you that everything surrounding God is all belief. Some believe God will never leave them, other's believe that God as left them, and then there are people like me who believe God is nothing but a farce. This song can work both for your god as well as their relationship. It all depends on belief.

i agree 100%. i don't believe in god but i absolutely love fireflight. alot of their songs motivate me to keep going on. i have really bad depression and these songs give me hope. alot of these songs remind me of my boyfriend who stuck by me even through the worst mental break down. i think every song speaks to each person in a way that fits them best.
