What's up with the bass line on the bridge? It's completely outside of the changes!

I've been looking for this version for a while. Back when I had the CD this was the version, now all of the digital services have is the version with the trumpet and drums. As a trumpet player myself, I like this version better haha

I play this,and all though it's basically a really sad song,,I get reminded of an era of music few fell into..yeah everyone says oh I remember that one...but oh the Contrary,,,I surely don't recall your flight jacket. And docs while I was drinking expresso jamming to tunes from Style Council,Roxi Music,Bauhaus,,etc,,Music,,its the one thing"THEY"..CAN NEVER TAKE AWAY!

@ScooterandSparky this song helped me over an ex-girlfriend back in the 80's. this song has been re-mixed and the re-mix version is all i have found on youtube until you posted your's. good choice on the video (not to over do it). i think there was an actual video for this song in the UK, but i could be mistaken. yes, the video in one's mind for a song is often/usually superior to the actual/official video.

@johnrunion Glad you enjoyed it. I didn't want to overdo a video of it, as I remember it at a very special place and time in my life. This is one of those songs where the best video is the one you play in your head whenever you hear it.
