Idk I like their new direction, they're trying out something new. Usually I hate it when bands change their sound, but their new stuff sounds like a better Beastie Boys

    T.... M....

@callofdutybutt they have 1 song, maybe 2 if you include this track that sound like the beastie boys. The rest is pop GARBAGE. Rinse and repeat. Welcome to Hollywood boys.

Its just a shame they went this direction, as a band rooted in punk. Plenty of punk bands expand while still playing punk, for example PUP (their new song is so good have you heard it?!), Slaves UK, The Bronx, The Bouncing Souls and even Wavves to some degree. *purposely used poppier sounding punk bands*. Even they haven't sold out as hard. Whilst playing softer music, at least they went independent and kept to their truth.

Fidlar just reeks of chasing stardom. I saw them at punk rock bowling in 2017 and the show was BUCK. It's just, so depressing that they will never have that again. So much promise.

Cant even listen to the old stuff anymore because their true nature of being tools shines so bright.

    Again, bye fidlar.

@Talis Magnusson Damn I'm sorry you feel that way, I wish u could enjoy this album as much as I do. And yeah I know a couple PUP songs, I'll def check out their new song

But I think we might have similar, but opposite tastes in music... You mention that Wavves hasn't sold out, which is p true. U see him freaking out at Warner Bros(?) on Twitter for not giving him enough freedom with his V album?

But god damn I fucking hate WAVVES' newest album

Wavves and Fidlar were the two bands that made me realize that I actually enjoy music. King of the Beach and FIDLAR's self titled album is basically all I listened to in 8th grade, but I think I've started leaning towards listening to more FIDLAR-y stuff.

I love the energy and sheer noise of Almost Free, but Wavves You're Welcome is (in my opinion) just too different and too experimental without enough polish. It sounds poorly produced to me.

In my previous comment when I said that I usually hate it when bands change their sound I actually was 100% thinking about Wavves' You're Welcome lol, it was a fucking massive disappointment to me... Except the song No Shade, idk why but I could listen to that for hours on repeat

But I'm glad u can appreciate Wavves' newer stuff

    T.... M....

    Bye @Talis Magnusson
. Even though if you think FIDLAR was just another punk band you really weren't much of a fan to begin with. Don't know how you can classify a band that covers Ween, Rolling stones and CCR as just punk.
