I love this album! I saw Bryan ferry in 1994 at the Roxy in Atlanta. Such a great concert! He is so beautiful! He always has so many beautiful women in his videos!

He is so hot! And his voice could make you melt. Some artists just get sexier with age. Robert Plant, John Lodge and David Bowie are other examples of artists who also looked even hotter in their 40's than in their 20's. (Coincidentally I just noticed they're all also British.)

Decent enough music so far, going through the entire solo album collection from the start, nice enough to have on in the background while doing other things. He seems to have achieved a high enough standard of musicianship and stuck to it. Thus far haven't noticed any decline in that. Thanks to YT we can check out an artists almost entire work.

Years ago we'd need to be well healed to be able to do that, have access to some record library or consistently cadge albums off cronies we knew. Maybe the latter was more of a 60's thing when things were a bit financially tighter. Some innovative work coming out of Mr Ferry's smooth music making ice cream machine over the years.

His melancholic masterpiece as far as I'm concerned....Mamouna....

The atmosphere Bryan Ferry always manages to create in his songs is absolutely magical and spellbinding, Mamouna in particular. This album has accompanied my life almost from the day I was born and it just feels so incredibly warm and soothing.

The "Mamouna" album is definitely a must in Brian Ferry's catalog...

I think the verses would go much better with an improved chorus and guitar riff. The two don't mix that well.

'Just for clarification sake, I'd like to ask.  One of the girls in the video..Uma Thurman?  Also a question of the 'The Right Stuff' vid...I think Princess Caroline is in it, along with Alie MacDowell.

Mamouna and taxi albums mean a lot to me personally. Inhadnjust got into roxy music around 1990 when i was 14. As an elextronic music dan those album were incredibly ethereal and deep. Guitars and keyboards a perfect blend on both

This is seriously a bit over the top, but I like the "Mamouna" Album nonetheless- it's almost too Bryan Ferry in a way. You feel the weight of class, the burden of being a fashion and style icon - and the melancholy that comes with it. On this particular track he employs five different world class guitarists, now that's quite decadent.
