I enjoy this song well enough in its laid-back studio version (on "Let It Die") but this raucous take is a revelation that actually pumps things up while adding to the bittersweet message of the song at the same time. That shaky opening makes it even better. She seems unclear about what she's doing, but it's all a fake-out to draw you in.

Feist is very good live. Here's a live video. She plays Secret Heart, a cover of Ron Sexmith's song. He is not that well-known, but Feist and Coldplay revere him. He's from Canada and you find him on Youtube. Secret heart..what are you made of..what are you sooo afraid of...everybody should listen to this!
