Fear Factory - Drones Lyrics
You waste away
A spinning cage
Mass bided by the sun
You spend your day
And life has just begun
A paradise is in eclipse
And lives are lost
And for distress
The wage of sin is money spent
Your life a debt full of regret
We are lost in the maze
Falling...
And now your life
Amounts to nothing
A fortune has a price
Cause in the end
All humans die
A debt your in the hide
A paradise is in eclipse
And lives are lost
And for distress
The wage of sin is memory spent
Your life a debt full of regret
We are lost in the maze
Falling
Falling....
Falling away again...
(Get! Up!)
Lost in the maze
Falling
Falling...
Falling away again...

christian is a riff master!
Does anyone know why this album is not available on spotify
Jesus that INTRO!!! Terrifying ambience!!!
Fucking fantastic masterpiece this whole album is, wish they would return to this sound and line up dino is great too but he's a douche 👌💯
I cannot get enough of how motivating the electric guitars beat in this song can be i hear it when i try to rest after a hard daze work throbbing in my mind turning on when id rather not be in the realization of the fact that ill be forced to do it again my hands will be tied there's no way to fight it in a system built in stone and locked with a key- key holders may god bless you if there where angels round about it's dark throne of torture youd be singing a song ideal to illuminate the rainbow round bout it🤘🖤🤖
Fucking love this song
I was at a dark point in my life in winter 04 and I purchased this album. From the moment this track played it screamed at me “Remember Who You Are? You Remember Now?”
Why the hell this song is not on Spotify!! >_<
IgorD where is this whole album on Spotify is more like it
@mike ernst yeah ( but good thing it's on my harddrive
Because you have to buy the CD and play it in a car with a good system, youngin
Still pissed this album isn't on apple music :(
Replica? 🤔
This sounds really strong, precise, and cold. Kind of like a space engine; powerfully striding into the expansive universe.
New Album already complete and on the way!!

Can you the Pain on your Hide...
Βοήθεια κάποιος κάποιος!!
they invented the idea of drones in 2004 5 years before the drones were invented
The snaredrum is so good
Epic banb \m/
And now your life amounts to nothing. Your fortune has a price. Cos in the end all humans die.
One of the most influential bands of my life...I can't emphasize FF enough...I cud actually visualize their music...I know u true Fear Factory fans know what I'm talking about
fair enough...I did just interviewed on Wednesday btw
Best song from the album <3
These guys are right up there with PANTERA , no seriously , just a different style of METAL🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
No, Pantera isnt close to Fear Factory's sound at all. FF is Industrial, Pantera is Glam Metal.
@storm wickham idiot
Pantera still is more wicked tho. I love both bands. Whoever can't appreciate both is a coward.
Raymond Herrera sempre será meu baterista preferido. Animal demais!
Reminds me of the movie Maze Runner.
Reminds me of Blade Runner.
Intro is like Lycantrophy from Six Feet Under😱
I mis Raymond...
the message in this song will always have a place in this world unfortunately
I love Burton's screaming style but I really love his clean singing style.
GretzkySanders I agree FF is an unique band...anyway...there was a band musically similar (influenced) by them ...Sybreed . Sybreed also had Rhys Fulber (known for his work for FF) who mixed their last album God is an Automaton.
@M.L. Crow cool... I'll check them out... Ty!
GretzkySanders No problem, hope you'll like Sybreed...it was a cool surprise to me when I discovered this band some years ago.
the problem is that he can't sing like this in live concert
As a life long ff fan I gotta dmit he sounds great on record but horrendous live and the years of heavy drinking has made his live performance worse over the years. What a shame ☹️
D- D- D- Djent D- D- D- Djent ... well that works :D
Dark Shinji well fear factory were playing that style before djent was a thing and meshuggah were still a thrash metal band
Yea kids who use the word Djent were just nut stains in their daddys socks when this shit came out.
Beat Fear Factory album yet.
I was really blown away by the Archetype...Demanufacture is pretty damn good...I think Soul of a New Machine is overlooked...it's incredible
slam dance a smile and spit upon the wicked walk.. carry on; dark days past..
eyes front USN
I love this awesome band so fucking much, I immediately ordered a shirt today! \m/\m/
Prescient!
Awesome song, never gets old
oh m8, wat a banging tune.
First! No one claimed it!
In the end- all humans die
My new favorite song!
machines will rise!ff is love!
this is special shit man! Hell Yeah \\m//
Fear Factory is The BEST!!
Fear Factory for life that is all!!!
bob klemens it’s like heaven on earth
falling away again
3:50 goDaaaamn :D
I recommended this band so often to the people , I became myself a devoted fan of this computer influenced techno like metallic craft :P
@JohnACorp782whou kinda late reaction dont u think? 😂😂😂
@Maceej So? Retarded comments don't get old.
@JohnACorp782 ye... As i see People never change 😂
@Maceej Indeed. Retards like you never learn..
@JohnACorp782 kid 😂😂😂
Is it just me or this song sounds like Ektomorf's I'm Against in the beginning???
cause in the end all humans die!
@s2k9k: AMEN TO THAT. Raymond, Christian are as much FF as Burt and Dino are.
what about Andrew?
remember Andrew was fired in '92... IMHO, that was before they developed their sound
Right, its been a while, since 92 or 93 I think.
Last I saw anything on Andrew Shives, he was/is in an Atlanta-based rock band called Paper Street (2013-14)
WHY ISNT THIS ALBUM ON ITUNES!!!!
That't pretty fucked up considering it's among their best albums.
can't this anywhere sucks cause it's one of there best
Wow guess I bought it off tunes before it was taken down... this album is one of my all time favorites from fear Factory great songs from 1st to the last track 🤘🤘
KingTwall im pretty sure it has to do with the label they released this and Transgression on
45 years old and will DIE A METALHEAD!!!!!!!!
@detonator Yeah I love all those bands and any band tha sounds like them!...I like to point out alot..Tool is one of the best bands this planet has ever seen...Metallica, pink floyed as well...oh yeah look up Metallica's new album "hardwired to self destruct" It's owning in the charts all over the place...other countries world wide. The new album is AWESOME...the band wrote and discussed for years now along the way after death magnetic back in 2008...take note...they really had quality and on all thrusters they fire off hard! amazing new album...go hear it NOW! Tool they are working n a new album too!!!
Albert Green in 18 and goin
Yes, baby!!!
I listen to a lot of different styles of music but metal music has a special place in my heart. Some people might love hip-hop or some other shit but this stuff right here made by Fear Factory is the real deal without the slightest doubt!
@Max Platz How come this is not real music? You think your shit is great? Think again.
One of their very best albums, and what people don't realize is that Christian played guitar for the band on this album and during this time of the band. Dino had already left FF. You can't have Fear Factory without Christian Olde Wolbers and Raymond Herrera.
+s2k9k People know that Christian played on Archetype and Transgression. Pretty common knowledge among FF fans. Many people would argue you can't have FF without Dino. I also liked Gene better than Raymond. But that doesn't matter because they are both gone now. Replaced by a machine, ironically.
They are still an elite band, between BCB and Dino. They are still Fear Factory.
Most bass players can play guitar
Saw christian when he switched to playing guitar with FF , in 05 i wanna say. With soilwork and strapping young lad on the bill. They sounded amazing.
You can pretty much have FF by replacing missing members with SYL members
Christian is a douche
They are coming for us! Be ready to open fire!
Still crankin' it ;)
who ever you are, where ever you are heres one from the east coast of canada cheers
Terminators are coming our way ! Let shoot those fuckers!
Damnit this shit still jams
These guys are responsible for my love of heavy music.
Cidic Vicious aye
Resurrection and Lynchpin(a lot of Digimortal was pretty good) are two of my favorites
Since 1998 and no turning back. Ever.
For me it's Europa Final, I was about 5/6, first time heard them on Air. It awoke a patriotic feeling in me, the solo, love it
Cid Vicious Dude, same here! Zero Signal on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack was the first tune I ever heard by them. Classic tune.
This song also reminds me of a dream I had. I recall getting up at 3:00 AM to answer a knock on the door. Outside were three killer robots, each one with sharp teeth, red eyes, and machine guys. I woke up right as they opened fire.
Who ever you are, wherever you are, you are my brothers in metal! I hope you crank this fucker to full volume!
+Paul Badenhorst Yes!! Hails from Norway! :D
+EQOAnostalgia totally caught my head on the wall headbanging! \m/
+EQOAnostalgia thats some gay shit
Your"e a moron
Don't know what went wrong but it was about Big Boi
This is on my 2nd revolution soundtrack!
Tu Madre what else is on it lol
love rock
:))
Demanufacture and Soul of a New Machine were the best albums, hands down. This albums good though. Remanufacture was horrible....
"Remanufacture" was a remix album. It doesn't really "count" as much.
+XXXN3M1S1SXXX That's like... your opinion man..
I wasnt a big digimortal fan
I actually thing mechanize is their 2nd best album after demanufacture of course
Remanufacture is a remix album done mostly by Rhys and Front Line Assembly, who also did the mixes for Fear Is The Mindkiller. I like FLA, so I like Re-. Obviously not as good as De-, but it's not trying to be.
Wow!! Amazing!!
"Weee aare loooooost iiin theeeeeeee maze. Faaaaaaalling.................
Aaaaaaaaawaaaaaaayyyy. Falling away agaaaiiiiin.
Brutal!
I love the nightmarish tone of this song. It makes me picture an army of machine gun-wielding robots stalking victims under a full moon.
how about necrons
Perfect fit for the end of a terminator movie
So terminator salvation?
Der Wolfenforst yes! I absolutely concur , especially about the moon part...the beginning is ominous af
Archetype and Transgression where definitely my 2 favorite albums from them...probably being biased a bit cause i was growing up when these came out...I used to annoy the fuck out of family and friends with my metal. They couldnt stand it but for me it was pure joy!
Josh Miles obsolete is by far the best Fear Factory Album
joshua looper I agree
joshua looper totally agree one of my favorite bands.
I loved the sound of soul of a new machine. Mechanize was my favorite and I love the song regerate off the newest album.... Dying to see them in concert.
Two great albums and they're not on Spotify, fuck!
The beginnig sounds like a cannon shouting... Awesome
3:26 :-o
That riff is similar to Lycanthropy of Six Feet Under.
Apparently, there's some Voivod similarities on "Obsolete," but whatever. Borrowed riffs or not, they're still a good band.
Who cares? they fucking suck
I completely agree..Transgression and Archetype are more organic and raw.. I love these albums for the lyrical content, especially Transgression..True masterpiece from legends..
Hardcore FF fans might disregard this album as a transitional phase, but I still believe this album to be a true example of perfect execution in both mix and performance. This album made teenage life more bearable.
this shit is FANTASTIC
What if I told you that FF (with Dino) played Archetype in Australia a few nights ago?
They don't call him The Atomic clock for nothing. ;)
This wasn’t Gene Hoglan, Raymond Herrera was still the drummer here.
their new shit is shit compared to arch/trans
The drummer for the last few years of Fear Factory, he's also been the drummer for multiple other bands, the most recent being Dethklok. He's amazing at what he does, though obviously not the best. I just like his style :)
who the hell is Gene Hoglan???
unfortunately I have to give you 100% right even if first ff releases are something I can't live without.
Head members dino and burton are shit in all the way out of their studio;as men,as live performers,as musicians but (as I said up there) I'm addicted to tracks like dark bodies, hunter killer, self bias resistor and old shits :D
I started listening to FF because of Gene Hoglan, that's all.
I don't care what the band or any other person thinks about this album or Transgression. Those are my Favorite Fear Factory Albums. Sorry but Christian owned it on those albums. I was introduced to these guys during these days. So to me this, is fear factory. Their own personal drama has no effect on that. It's none of my business, and i wish them all well. I'm sure they're cool people.
FEAR FACTORY PISSCHRIST
Beyond me why a rift between two guys would possibly make the music itself worth disowning
@Ciphersignal. Wtf are you talking about?? "Horray for internal problems within bands!" ? lol . My congratulations! You are one of the most stupid human beings \m/
Fear Factory are a metal band. They make music. If you want to base your opinion on the low rate soap opera dramatics EVERY OTHER FUCKING BAND HAS then go ahead. But make sure to remove Nicki Minaj from your iPods first.
Btw. here the castrated version of this song " ww w.you tube.co m/wa tch?v=3HY 0kap 8Qg4 "
Yep, its absolutely true! Burton is just a fucking liar and hypocrite as well as Dino and thats indisputable. His words means nothing, just watch this "ww w.youtube.com/ watch?v=jy14O mrhoz8 " The only thing which he can do is talking shit about his band members (first Dino then Ray and Chris) His vocals sucks so much at the live shows but on the records its ok (obviously because he use auto-tune a lot). Oh, i forgot to say that Indouchetrialist is just a BIG ripoff of their previous records.
noooooooooo scaaaareeeeeeee
Yes props for this song, very good..
Dino wasn't in this album, hence why they claim not to highly regard it. I wish they would play some Archetype live though!
Agreed Archetype and Transgression are my two Favorite albums!
Hey I got SUPER CLOSE Live Videos of Fear Factory. Please look on my page you wont regret it
I personally think this is one of the best songs on the album apart from slave labour and cyber waste
He plays those bass drums like ah fukin snare mofos 4 real.
why would they disregard archetype? cyber waste is my favorite fear factory song
Cradle of Filth is not really that evil. sure they have very dark lyrics and a creepy essence about theyre music. but as far as evil id say no. very gothic and dark though. if you want evil read the lyrics of Mercyful Fate's song " The Oath".
