I seriously can't find articles that talk about the meaning towards the music video and this bad side, the child int he back, throwing the car at the sun, it's the question that has never been answered to me, can anyone help?

The heavy guitars make me like this even more than the original version. It was always a very good song, but Fear Factory made it even better, IMO.

When I first heard this song, I bough my first car, a 1977 Toyota Corolla. I gave it to my elder sister in 1989. She sold it to some dude. To my knowledge, it is still trekking around the State of Oklahoma. Tough little car.👍🏾

While I still love the original version of this song (from 1980), this is still a kickin' version of this song, done expertly by Fear Factory, and would you believe it? They actually brought Gary Numan back to help with the vocals, and to be in the video visually! Way, way cool, guys! Excellent and classy are two words that sum up this video perfectly!!! this is one of those times that the remake is better than the original, they didnt really change much but add a bit more guitar and it changed the song to a very raw sounding song. i love the Original but after hearing this song 20 years ago, i prefer this one now, glad Gary helped them out with this and made his original better

This is how covers should be done. Only on rare occasions should the cover artist diverge from the original like Hendrix version from Dylan's "All along the watchtower". Too many times musicians will attempt to cover a classic but using the excuse of "creative liberty" turns it into a huge pile of steaming shit. I'm sure we all know cover songs like that.

This is the song Elon Musk should have played when he launched that Tesla Roadster into space. Or at least played it along with Starman.
