And think of the gothic cathedrals as great examples of the sublime and aesthetic spirit of the christian europeans. The times were much more cruel, bloody and full of hardships that we spoiled brats of today can't imagine. But that can be said about any historical era before the second world war.

Kommt drauf an, wie man es sieht. Ein Mord aus Habgier oder weil die Tochter mit jemandem bändelt, den man nicht mag, ist...ohne Worte. Ein Mord aus Rache fände ich, je nachdem, schon verständlicher. Beispielsweise, wenn ein Angehöriger ermordet wurde man selbst den Mörder ermordet.
Ob ich sowas gut heiße? Nein. Ist es verständlich? In meinen Augen ja.

Allerdings gibt es doch Mensch, bei denen JEDER sich fragt, warum die einen fairen Prozess bekommen. Na, weißte, welche ich meine? Richtig: Kinderschänder und Vergewaltiger. Mörder, die aus niederen Beweggründen handeln (Ehrenmord, Habgier etc.). Solche Leute haben es nicht verdient, fair behandelt zu werden. Strick, Galgen und ans Rad flechten. Punkt.
