That doesn't make sense. Plenty of groups have had a lot of members and still worked out, be it Rap or R&B. They probably had internal issues though within the group. It's not really the amount of folks in the group that matters, but moreso the heart and mind of everyone in it. Wu-Tang did very well in the music industry just to use an example. In Techno music, there are groups similar to them which were successful also.
