Fallulah - Superfishyality Lyrics

Oh, my feet are travelin', they take me to the border
Foreigners in hotel rooms, can we drink the water?
Underground goes round, round, round
And leaves me in a corner
I want to be lost and found, I could be your daughter

Comfort of a TV screen, laughing all alone
Full on electricity, make me feel at home
Superfishyality, scared of the unknown

La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la
These city streets leave you to bleed, whoooa

Oh the dust is settling, it suits me like a shadow
Stepped out in the soakin sun, tryin' to make my skin glow
No one offers me a smile, I wonder if they see me
All I do is step aside, but they don't know that feeling

Comfort of a magazine, picture of the beach
Girls in pink bikini tops, give me the deceit
Superfishyality, good enough for me

(La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la)
These city streets leave you to bleed,
And when you bleed, you're sinking deep, whoooa

La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la

La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la la la la la

These city streets leave you to bleed,
And when you bleed, you're sinking deep, whoooa

Omg, I am so happy with finding that song again. I kept listening to it probably half a year ago, and then I totally forgot who sang it(as well as any lyrics from there). I tried to find it for so long, but today I stumbled upon a word "superficiality", sang it and realized that I remembered that song. Finally.

So as far as I understood from this, is that all those blonde girls were the superficial (superfishal) girls and she's trying to fight them off because she doesn't want to be like that and refuses to conform and the title of this song is a play on words to show how ridiculous she thinks superficiality is. Am I close to being right or did I completely miss the mark? Haha

+Michael k try and give the lyrics a read, i don't think she refuses to conform but considers her self a part of the superficial world. other then that i think you are spot on.

@mary mokan: the original upload was on 2012-Oct-8 (as far as I remember), and it passed over 100k the last time I have seen it.

Why is she so UNFAMOUS? She deserves more attention...

    m.... m....

    you so right

    m.... m....

Of course she deserves more attention. Unfortunately , if an artist doesn't have a lot of money to run his marketing campaign, he's gonna be unknown even if he makes great songs.... (And it's the same on the web : you pay , you're up.)

    Perfect
