I hate metal, but this song is really great. This is my boyfriends favorite band, so it's nice to enjoy some of their stuff. The musicality is so much more than I would ever expect from a band like this.

Solid album but it is overrated. It has a nice atmosphere and a good flow, but it really doesn't excel at anything. The solos are mediocre, the riffs are pretty good but nothing special, the drumming is above average as well, and it isn't really isn't progressive.

I agree.. I've tried so hard to like this album, considering I enjoyed The Harvest Wombs. But the thing about this album is that there isn't a single song that stands out. Which in my opinion is a problem with Technical Death Metal in general. Some bands like Necrophagist and Augury are able to write albums that have several memorable tracks. And then there are bands like Beyond Creation, that fail to write anything memorable(just my opinion).. I thought the Harvest Wombs was memorable in general, but this album is a complete blur, I've listened to it about 4 times now. And I can't name a single track when hearing it.

@DecrepitServant some do stand out, but it is kinda different from most albums. Chemical Cave does. The album was written to be a sort of concept album, check out the lyrics. idk, the cd's been in my car for months now lol
