This is the first death metal I've heard in a long time that sounds innovative and refreshing. Reminds me of early opeth, agalloch, ackercoke, with perhaps some behemoth and fleshgod. Comparisons aside,...this has something unique going for it. A rarity these days.

This band climbed the mountain top of tech death within such a short period of time. Here's to hoping the rest of the album equals the intensity of the two songs released.

4th best song of all time. The inordinate amount of HIGH BPM at 0:55-1:40 is the reason why (as well as the sharp production & kick drumming). Fucking destructive brutality.

The Production MAKES this song. If other commenters want bad production in metal, listen to other bands that sound recorded from a Fisher Price tape recorder. Leave Fallujah alone. I want my head fucking battered in and face ripped off from this music with this brutal fast drumming.

+catharsis222 The vinyl volume mastering makes it more atmospheric, in my opinion...the mixing is god tier and what makes albums for me. Technically, the extreme brickwalling on the CD pressings is kinda bad, but they're one of few bands heavy enough to make use of brickwalling as well. Different strokes I suppose, the mix is amazing on both.

THE KICK DRUMS AND FUCKING BRUTALITY is completely perfect the way it is. Superb impeccable production, to harness the brutality within. All songs should have this unremitting uncompromising inexorable power & force. 

Wow, I think this is even better than the last single. I think you guys have created a masterpiece. Cannot wait for my pre-order to get here.

the kick isn't even that loud in the mix compared to everything else. its leveled perfectly

Fallujah, if you're reading this, please don't alter anything you do. The Kick Drums should be more LOUD and INTENSE (and FASTER). I love what was done here in this perfect song. As I said before, this sparkling bright production is battering my head in and ripping my face off. BRUTAL

This band have just upped their game so much, and I didn't think they could make an album that was any better than The Harvest Wombs. 3:39 onwards is phenomenal 

Am I the only one that thought that Leper Colony was better than The Harvest Wombs? 

I agree. Leper colony has tunes that you can bang your head to in tempo. The new stuff is good too, but so much more ambient than before and almost a completely different direction. They are going for the whole "EPIC" thing and not so much heavy brutal death metal like how Leper Colony is.

The new stuff is so much more complex and has multiple layers requiring many listens to really know what's going on in the song than their previous efforts like Leper Colony. I thought The Harvest Wombs was amazing, and this release sounds like it'll destroy THW out of the water but I'm gonna wait till the album comes out before I get my expectations too high.

This album best put Fallujah on the major-player map, no band has evolved like this in the metal scene in recent memory...phenomenal! 

the evolution really is amazing. i hear Faceless and just hear over-energized tech metal. Fallujah understands spacing.
