Ich mag den Dialkekt und habe das Glück gehabt, daß mir in Österreich überwiegend freundliche Menschen begegnet sind. Okay, vergleiche ich Europa mit Asien, insbesondere Südostasien, dann gibt es massive Unterschiede. Europa, amerikanisiert, oberflächlich und wenig herzlich. Asiaten gastfreundlich, offen, mit hoher Aufgeschlossenheit gegenüber Fremden.

Eine Anspielung auf die angebliche Unschuld der Österreicher an allem was die deutschsprachigen Staaten veranstaltet haben :)

I´m german and i just had to google the lyrics after understanding only fragments of this song and it didn´t help one bit. Great song tho.

For the people wondering about the topic: Falco was referring to corruption and backroom deals, and the culture of it (everything in vienna is cultural...) translating the song would not work without an library of historical and cultural background info attached. Basically it refers to an culture of corruotion that was (is) so deeply ingrained that it has become very normal, mixed in with an certain brand of laid back baroquesce attitude vienna is famous for.
Basical you can get away with crime as long you have style.
