@pateris yes! Lady Madeleine was a good Friend of Marianne. Madeleine was romantically involved with Tony Sanchez. Well it's not clear how romantic it was as he was a drug King and her boss in prostitution. "Lady Madeleine" was a Prostitute. Marianne Pointed out many times she herself never had to do that. Anyway Marianne had sexual (romantical too?) relationship with Lady Madeleine. Sge must have spent most of her time with her. One day she tried to call Madeleine but no one There. She tried it for 5 days. There were 3 "mystery" men ( probably Tony and some other Dealer) who broke through the door. Madeleine was laying on the bed. Dead. She had obviously beaten her head against the bed side until she died ( she was on methadone). The stramge parts about this: she laid there like Ophelia in tge river. Beautifully put on the bed. Marianne had to wait hours with the body till the police came. They couldn't do anything to find out if she was murdered as Madeleine was Jewish and you can't be buried on a Jewish cemetery with some death cases. The Police man tried to do her a faver. Anyhow some people say it was Tony himself others say it might have been an angry costumer

Madeleine was a dancer, quite beautiful, and a heroin addict. Girlfriend of Tony Sanchez.In his book he claimed she beat herself to death by repeately smashing her head on a piece of furniture while in heroin withdrawal.
