One the only bands that blended synth into funk metal .

Deftones blended that also. No surprise Deftones is heavy inspired by FNM. THE SINGER Chino also stated he listen to a lot of R&B and synth music growing up which explains he's very angelic smooth vocals.

I love both bands but FNM is the god of this type of dark rock catchy music. Then Deftones is a great second. Korn also made some good catchy shit but nothing as smooth as FNM or Deftones. Korn sounds more like Primus. Very basic and catchy and energetic. Primus also deserves a spot on the big table also since their bass and drums are very epic. Goddess of a bass player Lees is.

Soooooo jealous. Helmet! We had really nice local band “ The Weetbix boys “. Good, but not great. Fuck FNM just blew the place to pieces. In the presence of greatness.
