I've been listening to this since it came out, and honestly I can't find anything else quite like it. I wish I could. It's funny, this music vaguely reminds me of 80's songs, but there was nothing in the 80's that sounds remotely like this. I like feeling nostalgic for things that don't actually exist.

deadsy and orgy were totally as synth oriented as this! just more like, numetal meets post punk... this is straight up early 00s emo dark synth pop if i absolutely had to describe it, but then again, you’re right, there really wa nothing else like it!!! brings me back to a very specific time when i hear it!

I would say a good working definition of nostalgia is a longing for things that may have never existed in the first place. But this definitely sounds familiar, synth pop never gets old!

This reminds me quite a lot of LCD Soundsystem actually, give "Tribulations" a shot and if you like that, you will like many more of LCD's songs.

it sounds like a lot of dance punk from the time. listen to some new rave stuff for things that are similar.

Holy memory lane! This band was a big favorite of mine in middle school. Among bands Dresden Dolls, Nine Inch Nails and AFI. I'm pretty glad I branched out though.
