Exodus - Shudder To Think Lyrics
You hit rock bottom, now where do you go from here
Sunk-down, locked-up, all you do is disappear
All your promises are all just a pack of lies
You've got nothing, something you can't recognize
Why don't you take some responsibility
You're pointing fingers and blaming everybody
Shudder to think if I lived like you
They would be shaking too, if they only knew
I can't take any more excuses
No longer needed and you don't have any uses
Washed up, washed out, what more can I say
You better start filling out your resume
Everything was there for the taking
Too Busy with the lying and faking
Drugged up, fell out, too many second chances
Nothing else to do under the circumstances
[Chorus]

EXODUS COM GARY HOLT THE BEST DEVERIA SER INCLUSO COMO BIG FIVE
+Marcio Andrade verdade saporra ai
nice sONg
I'm tired of ppls stereotypical cliche dislike for metal vocals... My favorite metal is angry at the fucked up ways of the world, therefore intense vocals are appropriate.
Exodus=Awesome
+Ryan Speakman I always wondered why people judge the lyrics in metal. Good point!
that's what makes a great vocalist
they cant fucking handle it. good lyrics always cause repulsion amongst the uninitiated
Ryan Speakman same. Shit gets the anger out of me and sometimes it makes me want to split someone's fuckin head with a bat
Another killer riff !!!
Metal United - United we staind on FB
Yes You' re right
I listened to Exodus first time some months ago. Slowly the thought comes that i lived my life in vain before that moment^^
I know the feeling
You did. Sorry, I lived Exodus from Album one, And I do mean album. I am 50 and still slam old style, we will both bleed. Ha!
I am somehow glad to see that people experienced the feeling before me...
killer chorus.
If only the vocals wasn't gay screaming shit. The riffs are sweet. But man that death metal screaming shit ain't music.
Are u a fan of Zakk?
Lol first time I've read these comments since I posted the comment 2 years ago, kinda laughing right now. It's a pretty childish comment.
Not really.... Certainly your original comment was less childish than your most recent comment!!!
Yeah and I like Black Label Society as well
20proclimb17
"Death metal screams" get the fuck out of here nimrod.
good band exodus
Gary Holt is an awesome riff maker and a poet from Hell.
Best song on a great album.
One of my fav tunes....
Wild Kustoms & Cars check out kammthaar by ultra vomi
I thoroughly agree with Raptor Jesus.
Dat Bass Though...
eargasm
i agree with you. im not a big metallica fan anymore (i still like them them though).
but the hate on metallica on all the thrash video's is just stupid.
This is pretty boring compared to the rest of the album.
Damnit. hit post before I was done... What I meant to type was......Metallica, Exodus, Megadeth, Testament. That would be my big 4.
Stitch Whitewolf probably mine as well. usually i have a standby fifth.
i would replace metallica with overkill personally
Exodus, Metallica, Pantera, Slayer....honorable..Testament, Overkill, Megadeth, Sacred Reich,
@07braves Pantera is groove metal, man.
Metallica
lol no, KREATOR, OVERKILL, EXODUS, TANKARD
i think the big four should be metallica slayer megadeth and exodus with testament at 5
this song is so fucking badass
...you are a kid.
Holt nuff said
You...are a fucking kid, lol...
No you are a kid.
"Impact is imminent" is one of my favorite albums of all time :) I remember the first time i put the cassette in my walkman and heard the first riff's and then the drums kicked in...i was so fuckin hooked for life. Thrash at it's finest !!! I believe it came out around the same time as Master of Puppets.... So Thrash was at its pinnacle :)
You are definitely still a kid, kid. You're just wasting your own time at this point lol.
No lol, it's already been established that you're a silly 13 y/o school boy so there is nothing really to get angry about
except Down is freaking awesome
Sick song
But Risk fucking sucked, Fabulous Disaster on the other hand was pretty damn good.
also i said that about hellyeah before i listened to the new album, its absolute shit
LOL DOWN AND HELLYEAH. Those bands are fucking awful, are you serious? loool.
Thrash fucking owns all those bands you mentioned. (in my opinion)
ai fuck love this band
zica d+ pohaaaaaaa
i agree the first 4 are incredible, the black album also incredible. everything after that though was pure trash. we need more bands like Down and Hellyeah and Pantera that refuse to put out trash music, (pantera isnt around anymore i know but, never would of put out trash music and we all know this)
this album is so fucking heavy! one of my favorites of all time.
Indeed, not only is this true, I know it for a fact, because NO self-respecting thrash fan hates Metallica's first four albums. People who do are just being stupid. It's basically saying "I loved this band's stuff, but they also put out some stuff I didn't love later on, so now I have to hate even the stuff I loved" - makes no sense. It'll change when YouTube users grow up and stop acting like little kids lol.
Amen brother, well said! People who say that are equally as stupid as those who ONLY listen to popular music. It's not about underground vs popular - it's about music. Just music. When people truly start thinking for themselves and stop trying to impress other 'popular kids' or other 'underground kids', then music will move forward. :)
Stop the fucking bitch talk, thrash metal is a fucking family. SLAYER, Exodus, Metallica, Mega Deth, Kreator, Sodom, Testament and all.
They are all fucking awesome.
Megadeth fanboy detected
LOL NO. Most of Kill 'Em All was songs from James' previous band, Phantom Lord.... including the song Phantom Lord. Dave contributed 4 songs, including the Mechanix which was of course converted to The Four Horsemen. Metallica are sellouts now, but Dave Mustaine is just an angry ginger born-again Christfag. Metallica's first four > everything Megadeth.
metallica first disc was entirely composed by Dave Mustaine from megadeth.... mettalica are fuckin gay money lovers
fuck no that's shit, heavier then the whole fucking titanic
heavy as a ton of led!
MENUDO TEMAZOOOO ¡¡¡¡¡
me la recordaron y aqi andoooo!! au! |m| amo esta rola!!
After i heard this song i now insist on calling my girlfriend Rob Dukes when I am fucking her..
This is a really great album.
Love this fucking album!
i hate when people say they dont listen to music because it gets "too mainstream"
good music is good music, whether or not you listen to a certain type of music should be ascertained by the bands pay check digit count...
one thing i find with mainstream music, is that the sound quality is always better. if i hear a great song, i dont care if its mainstream or "underground" and if the sound quality is great then thats a bonus!
dont try to be a hipster guys...
@SuperBspb sounds like C or Db. kindda has that dimebag/damageplan tuning tone
@SuperBspb well atleast they are trying to come back. st anger n magnetic may not be thrash but its the closest thing to it they've done since justice
@CrazyMetalZombie So true!!! so True!!! the formula 4 maybe...
@SuperBspb No, they didn't went full bitch. They just changed their sound. It's not a Thrash album, that's for sure, but it's still a metal album. If you don't like it, fine. But it doesn't stop beign a Metal album. It's not like they started playing Pop Rock or something.
@AFmetalhead666 " if a band gets too popular, I tend to not listen to them as much anymore" That's just fucking lame. Listen to what you fucking want, do not depend on others, for good or bad.
@Noah58 Metallica's first four albums are UNDENIABLY Thrash. If you don't like it fine, but you gotta respect the most influential Thrash band of all time.
I hate having to read about how much "Metallica suxxx!!! their are poserrr!!!111!" in every single Thrash video, because apparently, that's what you gotta say to be a "tr00 thrasher". Just shut the fuck up and listen to this fucking awesome song.
2:27
that riff fucking blows my mind!
Whoops. I thought this was the BAND Shudder to Think. My mistake.
Exodus have some brilliant album artwork!
