Dudes... I've never listened to Evergrey, until I saw them live warming up for Kamelot in Birmingham... It was eye opening. And this song... When I heard it I thought it was a metal classic for fucking decades. Who the fuck knew great metal still could be created these days... jeez... this song is something!

I love his voice. I love it. It's... I'm not ashamed that I'm crying.

Tomorrow EVERGREY will play in my town and I'll be there. I'm enjoying each and every note and beat of the album: time signatures, accents, bass lines and sounds, keys tapestries, groovy guitars, vocals...it's goosebumps every time. Concerning guitars I've never found such taste and feel in metal music. Fluid passionate guitars, notes bending with emotional phrasing... Goosebumps! I don't know why but melodies bring me emotions linked so deeply to my childhood, sad, sweet, thankfull and peacefull at the same time. I cannot wait to be there when The Silent Arc will set the sails to Evergrey ship tomorrow night. It'll be chills. I LOVE these guys.

Tusen tack! This is how it should sound when prog & metal unites. For example, guitar tone from 5:40 onwards is very Pink Floydish to my ears. What a track from one of my favourite bands. Pure genius.

Actually, Evergrey is one of the best bands I have discovered in 2000s, aside Dark Tranquillity, of course. Mostly listening to '70s prog and '80s metal. Glad to see them live on Nordic Metal Cruise 2019-02-09.
