Good however the use of a number of outside writers (Cobb, Difford, Hewerdine) is somewhat disappointing since Europe are by far talented and capable to write great songs without them.

I think Europe are far better now than they were in the 80s. Love the new sound. I always thought they were a bit meh back in the 80s. They're pretty damn good now.

1:45 is delightfully unexpected on first listen. In fact the whole album caught me by surprise and feels refreshingly unpredictable. Great stuff.

I don´t understand these people complaining about the new sound of the band. The 80´s was just that, 80´s, some 30 years ago! Why would a band repeat the old style over and over again? It makes no sence at all because these guys are talented musicians and they want to evolve and I think they are doing a very good job!

Dear...this style is not Grunge music at all...please...In this album Europe show all their influences from seventies bands like Thin Lizzy, UFO and a bit of Zeppelin, Rainbow and Deep purple...in fact, Grunge bands like Soundgarden and Stone temple pilots were heavily influenced by Stoner Rock from the seventies...the roots were all in that decade.

Magnus Premberg I have found somebody like me. Their debut sounds like Lizzy without being a copying in your face wanna sound like Lizzy. All of the songs on that debut album sounds like influenced by Lizzy for me.

I buy many records from various artists...Pop , Rock , Hardrock , Blues , Heavy Metal. And only a few records blow me away. This new record from EUROPE blew me away , what a great record. A MASTERPIECE !.
I don't know what it is , but this record is very special. The production from Dave Cobb is fantastic, it's very deep like the production from "BACK IN BLACK" ( AC/DC ). It has the same deep touch. Sure , the songs are different, not AC/DC style , but the production is very similar.

Gli sto dando alcuni ascolti per vedere se mi entra. Continuo a trovarlo poco convincente a livello di suono (troppo vintage) e soli di chitarra ormai stra sentiti nel repertorio di Norum. A quanto pare dobbiamo abituarci al fatto che probabilmente il binomio Tempest e Norum vuole andare proprio in questa direzione per omaggiare Thin Lizzy e le varie icone '70 etc. Io da fan vorrei solo un ritorno a suoni piu' moderni e brani piu' heavy e diretti. Il mio riferimento assoluto rimarrà sempre Wings of Tomorrow. Just my opinion.
