"heavy metal" uhm? Nigga, they were never heavy metal, LOL. More on the post-hardcore end when Ronnie was around. Craig brought a more metalcore approach. This sound is nothing new. Every album has at least one or more heavy song like this.

I think it's about the human struggle of faith. We as humans are prone to question everything hence why he's quote: "worshipping fiction ". But at the same time he believes there is something out there and because of the life he's lived feels he's not accepted because temptation has ruled over him and his moral choices.
