guys, we get it. I miss Garrison too but he's gone. he was great sure, but don't you dare say JT sucks just because you're still used to Garrison. if you thinks JT sucks, you obviously haven't listened to drift in it's entirety. if you had, multiple times, you would realize why it's their greatest album and one of their greats albums ever. of course I love the old stuff. it was like a different band back then (pretty much was except Jesse and Alex) but this is who they are now. if you play an instrument, you know why Drift is THE masterpiece. Along with that, JT's vocals match it perfectly and you can hear him clearly and strongly. it's amazing. shut up with the he sucks, bring back Garrison bullshit. he's gone and Erra is better than they ever have been and finally getting some attention they deserve albeit, still not enough.

I hope garrison is out there looking at the beauty in this world. He deserves it knowing the answers he's searching for his music. I don't hate on bands like Erra and Northlane. At least they still get on with life and are clearly searching for answers instead of sitting around like a mindless drone.

Not a lot of us thinks that he sucks, but it's just not the same anymore. I can't bear to listen to Drift, as Garrison and Alan left a hole that just hasn't been filled. Erra will continue to be one of my favourite artists of all time, but I'm stuck listening to their older albums. I love the vocals from here, surely, but I love the songwriting, the lyrics, and the instrumentals too! Ian Eubanks was great too while he was in the band, but I can't bring myself to get behind JT. I'm happy that you enjoy the newer albums, and that's awesome, but it's not something I can truly ascertain. Augment, Impulse, and the EP's before and after will continue to hold a special place in my life. With Drift, and the newer album, without the brilliant lyrics and vocals of Garrison and Alan's sick guitar melodies, I feel like I'm just listening to a djent version of Ghost Atlas. Not bad, but nothing even close to old Erra.

This album goes in. Been listening to the album nonstop at work for at least 2 months. Augment is great too, but this album is different, I'm not sure why. Haters gonna hate - but this is borderline masterpiece, at least as far as modern metal, deathcore, djent and progressive is concerned. A lot of comments are backing it up, this is a very impressive metal album.

It's different because the writer wasnt scared to open the concious. This song is deeper than just the beautiful sounds. The instruments and singing just compliment the lyrics heavily. My siblings, cousins, and other close ones have abnormal stories alike the writer I'm sure. Just our own. The concious level this guy is on. I hope he's doing good though. I truly mean that because I can tell you what he felt in this song I know the feeling. Idk I can go on for hours about the connection this song has with me, but idk where to start. This song is incredible lol

Couldn't have said it better myself, the dreamcatcher EP Was okay.. Not terrible, but not the same. Drift seems like a totally different band to the ERRA I fell in love with, impulse will always be their best album, like you said, it's almost perfection, I honestly don't think I have one criticism about this album.. They were heavier than BoO but somehow added a technical vibe, like the harps in render the void etc. They made it so perfectly, I'm deeply saddened at how they are now cause anyone can see it's just not the same band it once was

This is why I'm glad I listened to this then Singularity by Northlane. They compliment each other in a way. I could tell you my story on this band connects to me, but the sun is literally rising as we speak and I don't want to speak any negativity. The entities are done taking shots at the people I care about now. The dimension shifted or dissipated out of my strong concious awareness. I wasn't the one aware of the masses last night, but I was awoken again. A very enlightening song.
