Ah yes, get wealthy making actual great music that's fantastic and unique, then when you can afford to, you made mediocre cess-shit and try to push a message in some... attempt at virtue signalling? Is this the same EQUILIBRIUM I'm thinking of? Why does the music suck generic shit? Why is it in English? Why is it accompanied by some lame fucking video showing me third worlders doing lame, culturally unevolved shit? I had to check and make sure this was the same band.


Before you get your triggered gender nuetral panties in a bunch, it's as much my right to critique their creation as it is their right to create it... it's sad to see such a... low grade product from a band that has shown incredible creativity and signature style in the past. And I can't help but think that they'd have never dared created this, had their past music not been so successful, which makes them sellouts.

What an amazingly interesting moment in their band history. To me it looks like some guy at Nuclear Blast who just finished college had this great idea for Equilibrium's new trend image 2019 and the band just went along. That's when they released "Final Path" one month ago. But it got shitstormed so badly, the poor guy paniced and ran to the mean-looking, bearded bikeresque, baby-eating Behemoth creative advisor and together they werde like: black paint here, deep growl there, yeah that'll fix it guys, you're hardcore again!


The main question here is: what is happening to Equilbrium creativly?

Only two good songs of the new album and this is one of them.
It feels like Equilibrium lost their sound... Sad with the three previous albums beeing absolutely brilliant.

On a scale of one to ten I give the video a solid nine but the music a two. Equilibrium WERE unique at one time but this is standard unremarkable unmemorable boilerplate metal. Pardon me while I go listen to Blut im Auge for the thousandth time.

Nun... seit Jahren hab ich mich nicht mehr mit Equilibrium befasst, da es für mich immer so ein Saufkram-Schunkgeträller war... Aber ich muss gestehn... Von diesem Meisterwerk bin ich komplett überrascht. Inhaltlich, Künstlerisch, Musikalisch, Technisch sowie auch das Video.. WOW Leute! Bin sehr positiv überrascht und sehr erfreut. I don't have final tears

I respect that the band wants to try something new. This will appeal to a lot of people, I hope. I listen to metal music with some sort of a melody. I am too simplistic to be able to appreciate deep complex non-melodic music. I will now concentrate on the folk metal of the Russians, like Alkonost and Arkona or symphonic metal, like NW or Epica.

Just listened to the whole album and still don't know what to think of it. Yes it is VERY different. Is it bad? Hmm no... I think it's not... Just different though.

But what I actually like about it is their experiment with "more vocalists". Nothing against Robse but this could have some potential. Especially the clear parts.
But what i really dislike about it is that one song with the rap part as well as the other songs with those anoying "electro disco beats" no idea how to describe it otherwise....

Do i miss the folky stuff? Yes i do. Does this make the album or band bad? No, not at all. Just different... Will see who this turns out in the end...

Die Klimawelle ist unterwegs und Equilibrium reitet sie sogleich, damit auch ja der Mainstream nicht verpasst wird.
Wäre das vor der Klimahysterie entstanden, dann wäre es eine wirklich tolle Botschaft. So versinkt sie in der Masse und sagt nur "schaut her, wir machen das, was alle gerade machen".
Jetzt noch ein Anti-AFD-Song und ein Pro-Homoehe-Song und ihr schafft es bestimmt ins Radio, bekanntlich muss dafür die Musik auch nicht allzu toll sein - passt doch!

Its better then the first 2 singles which was absolute rubbish, buts its still not Equilbrium. Then again, all the band members of Equilibrium have left except Rene so it basically isnt Equilibrium anymore. If all band members left Metallica, it wouldnt be Metallica anymore even if 4 new dudes took over.
