Table's part reminded me of Eminem's song for his daughter. Yeah...this is for his daughter but as their style, unlike Eminem who mentioned his daughter's name. They make it not obvious, no naming and stuff so that it can be relatable to everyone listening instead of feeling what he feels to his daughter... any father or mother listening may feels the same for their own offsprings. Understand how he feels. 👏👏👏

I've always seen this song as a message for someone. I always thought this person who be someone so important to Tablo, like Haru... But knowing that those words were actually written for BTS, my very favourite artists, people who are so important for me and that I respect so much... This song is even more important for me now.

He was saying do not follow his path because he walks the hard one. Do what he do but follow others that been using an easier path. The world can give you a lot but they also take away a more than it can gives. He experienced it.
In a way, he wanted people to know that it wasn't all about what you can gain but what you may have lose if you wanted to make it in this industry. Remember the cause you wanted to do it and don't let the will to do it destroy the reason you want to do it, in this case it's his family(he mentioned that he feel regretful that his scandal may have contributed to his father's death). It was really great advise coming from a man who have lived it. Many people say that he was inspired by Bts like they are proud of it. Now....i hope their fans think hard of why Tablo wanted to say those things to Bts. What did he see?

Tablo’s rapping here hit me hard knowing its for Haru. As I watched Haru grow up because of “The Return of Superman” and knowing Tablo’s past the lyrics hit deep for me.

This isnt about Haru. Its for trainees. Tablo said it in the interview.

Ah the lyrics make me cry every time! Honestly Tablo and NELL are the most legendary combination for me, I can't ask for something better. Because this is the best, and i feel like it just makes me rethink my choices and my entire life. I want to follow Tablo's advice because he really is my role model, after every thing he struggled with, he was still able to lift his talents and shine. He's such a respectable man and an awesome father, and its just beyond my comprehension of what a patient, persevering person should be. The world is lucky to have him even if they don't know it. I feel lucky to know him.

What's with the Icarus lives part? Is it a reference to something?

Rocio Sanchez Icarus is a mythological character that could fly got too close to the sun then fell to his death. That line is a metaphor to his own situation where he got too close to his own downfall.. but ultimately survived.
