Which songs are your favorites from TQE??? Mine are: Natural Corruption, Unchain Utopia, The Essence of silence, TQE KOH PART II, Dreamscape, In all conciousness, Chemical Insomnia, The Second Stone and Canvas of life. I loved every single song but those are my favorites.

You almost listed them all.
But understand, it's hard to pick a favourite one. I enjou this album so much I can't decide what are my favourites.

Late reply, but: In All Conscience, Canvas of Life, Dreamscape, Omen, Reverence, Sense Without Sanity & Natural Corruption are my favourite songs. A little sad that the bonus songs are SO good, but won't be played live (probably) :/

In all Conscience has some of the best choir in all metal, and Canvas of Life is one of my favourite ballads, along with Fade to Black (Metallica) & When All is Lost (Symphony X). I hope for a bigger variety in the songs on the new album though. It sounds really promising so far!

Epica works their ass off and deserves every bit of success that comes their way. I am astounded by Mark Jansen's work ethic.
The guy was a dreamer and he did not give up. 
He had a plan and he stuck to it.
The whole group is inspirational as hell!

my only regret is not knowing of them sooner...from usa...but they easily became my favorite group within the last 2 years or so. overthrew avenged sevenfold from my #1 spot for nearly a decade haha

What this indicates is - that they're most popular in South America (and still pretty much unknown  over here or in the States).

Well, our youth has been brainwashed into listening garbage music; now even white music sounds like rap, no quality whatsoever.  Plus Blacks are not listening to their quality music, i.e. Earth, Wind, and Fire, which is amazing.  Epica has to become bigger in Europe, it is an amazing band.

Yes, they have been stuck, poor marketing.

+Ricardo Martinez Their quality is stupendous as this video indicates and with Simone as front singer - she should be a global commodity by now. She is marketable in every sense of the word. She has the LOT - truly International Star material of the top most calibre. But the  Epica  guys themselves are also such an amazing band technically, instrumentally and arrangement wise. It should be a deadly combination. I can think of no band better poised for global celebrity (storming the British and US markets). And yet it has eluded them and Epica are practically unknown over here (which is ridiculous). Why?

Great song, really great! Evokes at times the aural vibe of bands like Nightwish, Amberian Dawn and even Wintersun (!) but realised and brought forth in the unique style and ingenious flair of Epica! Another epic song from them! :)

Huh, I was a huge fan of Amberian Dawn before they broke up, I consider them maybe the best band of this genre...
Man, Epica has the greatest, most fun frontwoman of all though. Cannot deny that at all.

It is because AD have a kind of power metal in the style, and heidi in Dark Sarah is trying to create a new style, she called it Cinematic Metal, and it has a gothic style.
