This song was good song back in the day
I can't believe En Vogue has a song with the word "Shit" in it. Terry & Cindy was like Rhona, you the new girl, so you can say it, but we ain't tarnishin' our impeccable images, lol. But I totally feel the message of this song.

Rhona also said "shit" in a song called 'STOP!' and "ass" on 'Ez-A-Lee', both also from the SF CD.
EV's played around with cursing at times on songs like 'Damn, I Wanna Be Your Lover' (EV3), 'Work It Out' (Masterpiece Theatre) and 'Have A Seat f/Snoop Dogg' (Electric Cafe'). They try to ride that "grown and sexy" line from to time.

Even though I wouldn't really say this is En Vogue's usual stuff (due to the fact that they had new band member Rhona Bennett and everything) I would definitely give the album credit. There were some great songs on it and this was one of them!
"Great" is highly questionable. While I too like this song, "Soul Flower", including this song, is throwaway and beneath En Vogue's standard.
