Emotions, The - The Best Part Of A Love Affair Lyrics

My baby and me, are finally back together
After breaking up, over a silly fight
After he took me in his arms it didn't matter
Who was wrong or right
'Cause I got him back (Welcome back baby)
Now I know, at the end of the storm
There's a bright rainbow!

The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair
Is making up after breaking up with your baby

The pains I felt, just disappeared
Again a smile, is on my face
The funniest kisses taste a little sweeter
Why did we fall out in the first place
Now when he holds me, it's like we first met
His voice sounds sweeter, kisses the best yet!

The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair
Is making up after breaking up with your baby

When we make back up
We try to catch up on lost time
Ooh it's so good trip
Such a good good time

The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair
Is making up after breaking up with your baby

The best part of a love affair
The best part of a love affair

9th Grade at Manley Branch of Marshall on the West Side of Chicago. Entering high school was already fun and hurtful. I guess when You're 14 and 15 and sneaking kisses and feelies the memories last a life time. Just when You think they're gone, You find a sweet, sweet song like this and all those lovely times of kissing and sneaking returns so fresh in Your mind. I sure did love me some Margaret Delorse Dugger back on the 2800 Block of Lexington!!
