Brian, Emery definitely is one of those bands for me. I'd say taking back Sunday, The Used, Brand New. I saw this as a generalization because of course there are a few acceptions out there but I feel like the 2005/6 is when music died. So sad you don't see these great bands anymore

Isaias Hyperthunder It's more like a man who is away from the woman he loves, due to business or deployment. The ending with the female singer seems to point to him being away for yet another year.

For those who claim they see nothing in this song relating to their faith, that's because none of their songs really directly tackle the subject of faith. They believe that relationships build everything. If I remember correctly this song was written about his wife.

The first time I heard this song and 4:29 came around I just started crying and shuddering so hard and it wouldn't stop. I didn't know why, and I didn't care, and you know what? I still don't. This touched me in a way that's beyond my human comprehension of feeling- Emery is life.

Incase anyone doesn't know, the basis of the album name was to ask the question, "Where were you when I was..." then add the song title, for instance, 'Where were you when I was listening to Freddie Mercury."

Don't get why this band's so unpopular. Like honestly.. No dislikes, so talented, great lyrics that give a meaning, and so much dedication.
