If you believe we feel that way because she chooses to dress in a classy and modest manner, well that's your issue and we can't help you with that. 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Charlie Carter Interesting, I wasn't too into the secound album until I listened to it again recently. I still prefer this one though. Do you dislike the lyrics or the music?

@Strawberry cheesecake I've actually thought about this because I am a fan, and she's such a talent. I realised I don't believe her. There's a disconnect between the lyrics and something in her voice. When she sings Clown, Read All About It and Heaven, I'm right there with her. It's super subjective because I much prefer the production and music on those tracks too. Her life has changed so much, I wonder could it be that causing the disconnect for me? Or is it an unconscious bias, when I hear gospel sounds I expect a certain type of vocal, I may find Emz tone too light for that gospel sound? Though I'm disappointed with this output I'm very clear it is still far better than most. I said Heaven, so now I have to go listen to Heaven, because Oh My God! :)

@Charlie Carter Both those things sound plausible. Maybe you're just at a different place in life than this song. Like, I cannot relate to Clown at the moment at all. But this fits my current situation quite well. Many of my friends have gotten a little starry eyed recently.
The Gospel thing is a good point too. I don't know much about gospel, so I don't get a dissonance, but if you associate different things with something it can really be jarring.
Who knows, maybe the next songs will be more up your ally.
