I think they are an emo band... I love them... I think they have a little indie because of the way they sound, but the music itself has an emo type thing about it. Not that it is a bad thing. I absolutly love these guys.

Embraces 'come back to what you know' was 1997 i think.

Well Coldplay formed in 1996, but only released Parachutes in 2000. Embrace hit number 1 with 'The Good Will Out' in 1998, and had been around a while before that. So in terms of records, Embrace predate Coldplay by 2 years.
