Oh my GOD. I found this song from my youth. I'm 55 and this song has been in my psyche for about 40 years. I just remember the lyric about JOE. Now I need to look up this vocal and to find the version that I remember. I don't think it was this version but another. Wow, a discovery for my bucket list of memories. Somehow I need to remember songs from my past. I guess I was much happier then. No doubt.

Hi Donna, hope you are well. You certainly did not bore me. I wonder which videos you refer to. To be honest, I have never seen impersonators that had the Elvis voice or charisma. I think Bill Cherry lately does a nice job but you cannot expect people to sound like Elvis. Reason he is so well loved worldwide is because of his unique personality. I understand people want to re-live Elvis by going to an impersonator show but I think some are celebrated too much I think. Often I read comments like 'he sounds just like Elvis' but that is just incomprehensible to me. But as I said, as long as people just enjoy it. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Hi Uibeltje. Sorry it has taken so long to reply back. I have a DVD called " That's The Way It Is" It starts with Elvis rehearsing a few songs in the studio to prepare for the concert. It is a great show. He laughs a lot and has lots of fun. If you go to Las Vegas , you'll see a few Elvis Impersonators at the wedding chapel. I haven't been there but heard they were there. Last year in our town, the library hosted an Elvis show with a local man who lives in the area. I forgot his name ,but he sounded very close, but no one could ever have his angelic voice and charisma or his georgious looks. Humanity and lots more. I am from the southeast part of North Carolina. Eastern standard time. At this moment it is 8: 59 pm. Friday August 31. I'm not sure of your time e there in Holland. What does the country look like? I feel blessed to talk with you. My first time in talking to someone in different country. I look forward to our next conversation. Elvis will always be a part of our lives, our minds, and souls. Elvis inspires me. Holland is very nice but small compared to the USA. How is North Carolina? is it green and with mountains? Or very rural? Well Elvis is famous and loved worldwide. Also in Holland there are many people who still listen to Elvis. I do plan to come to Memphis one day but it is quite expensive. I think I will save some money first to do so. Hi, Uibeltje, Snuibetje, My family and I live in out in the country, around farm land where I was raised. Beans, corn, cotton ,wheat, and some places- tobacco. There is a small chicken farm behind my home where chickens are raised and picked up and carried to the plant to be processed for food. We live about 1 hour and 30 minutes or so, from Atlantic Beach. We just had a Hurricane called Florence that came through the first weekend of September. We were very fortunate compared to others. We lost a few shingles from the roof but should have that repaired soon. We have been to The Built more House a few years ago, and enjoyed viewing the house and surrounding area. There are mountains there. We have been to Tweetsie, Railroad at least twice. As for Memphis, we plan to visit there in May of next year, if it works out like I hope it to. It's on my bucket list of things to do while I can still get around on my own. I am only 59, but I am starting to get really nervous about things. I know the Lord will look out for me and my family so I will stay possittive. Hope you get the Chance to to visit ax well. My first stop will be Graceland. I am so looking forward to that day. It is great to know there are lots of people in Holland who love Elvis. I don't think he'll ever be forgotten even after I am gone . He has touched the hearts and souls of many, through this world. I feel like the biggest problem on these re-recordings is the same problem I have with most newly recorded music. It lacks soul. It sounds so processed that the life is gone. Idk... and these watered down arrangements. This song rocked as originally recorded. This one is just... there.
