this is my mom and dads song. my mom was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, we took care of her every step of the way. she passed away in january. this is the song we chose to play at her funeral. i miss you mom. you were suppose to be here for my 19th birthday. you were suppose to be here to watch him graduate. you were suppose to be a grandma and and to retire. i miss you so much.

It was a year ago on my first date with my ex I sang this song for her and while I sang it she recorded me singing it for her and I put it on YouTube, months after I took it down

I know very one is commenting on the song and singer but I wish to comment on the meaning I have never known such a love someone is understanding there for me to lean on if I must someone I can tell you look beautiful all the time someone no matter my faults looks at me and think I love him no matter what unfortunately I have only known the dark bitter loneliness my night are cold my days are long and winding no one to hold no one to kiss good night or good morning no one to say yeah I love you just an utter mass of loneliness not looking for pity just merely commenting on my sad exsistant

This song was played at my granddads funeral

I was so happy when I saw him perform in Vegas. It was the most wonderful experience I have ever had. He was so dynamic and such a marvelous singer. It is a shame that he never got a chance to do what he really wanted and that was just to act. Even though his voice is a blessing from God, I wish that he was able to attain his dream to just act. Beautiful song!

This song was later done by Al Martino. As for the song itself, I like Al Martino's version a lot better than this one.

I believe this was on his first album late 50s and it was fairly popular.The way times were back then Elvis had to mix up some country music along with his bluesy rock that was writing and first sung by black artists.That's just the way things were then.Actually he could sing both sides good.
