I've just read that Eluveitie uses Tin and Low Whistles. The sound of a Tin Whistle would be higher and "sharper", so I suppose it's the Low Whistle. :-)
But I think that the sound of their Hurdy-gurdy flows into it additionally. One wonderful instrument in my opinion. ;-)

The instrument at 1.38 is a Low D whistle (sometimes called a Concert whistle). On Thousandfold a Low E flat whistle is used.
