LOVE this song! Whenever I'm feeling crappy about my lousy love life (and the men I was good to), I listen to this song and belt it out along with Elton.
wish I understood the whole music chord thing. I took piano lessons right before Elton emerged onto the scene and into my heart forever. the piano teacher was a little too handsy, feely. what a damn shame. I know that I would have stuck with it. I was embarrassed, and back in those days ya just didn't say anything about such a pervert as we can do now. I'm glad, if only for that one reason........if it had happened to one of my son's, I would have killed the guy first, then try to convince them that it WASN'T Their FAULT, and that if they still wanted to play, make some major changes, so they could pursue a passion.. hey, I'll be 55 on Friday, and I'm preparing to go back to college in the spring. maybe learning to play again would not be such a bad idea, eh?
